13 Days Little Tibet tour takes you to visit the mesmerizing Tibet, the isolated land among the highest lands on earth. While on this trip explore Buddhism, one of the major religions of the world from close quarters.

Itinerary Details
Day 1: Delhi

On arrival at the Delhi airport, meet our representatives who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is to be spent relaxing in your room. You may step out in the evening to enjoy the pulsating nightlife of Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi       

Next morning post breakfast, move out on a city tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions of Delhi include the Birla Mandir, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, and President’s House. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Delhi – Leh

Day 3 starts early, as after breakfast, you get transferred to the Delhi airport to board a flight to Leh. As you reach Leh airport, meet our representative who’ll guide you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel. The afternoon is to be spent resting and relaxing while acclimatizing to this high altitude region. In the evening you may take a leisurely walk to the local market of Leh. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Leh

Early in the morning leave the hotel to visit the famous monasteries of Leh. Attend the praying ceremony at Shankar Gompa. Later in the day enjoy a sightseeing tour to Shanti Stupa and Tsemo Castle. Also visit Shey Palace. Retire for the night at a hotel.

Day 5: Leh

In the morning after breakfast move out to visit Thiksey Gompa that is situated in the village of Ladakh . The monastery exhibits the gold-plated statue of Lord Buddha, called the Maitreya Buddha.  Also visit the Indus Valley Monastery. Later in the day drive to the Hemis monastery, the most famous monastery of Ladakh region. The tour plan also includes a stopover at the Indus Valley monastery. Then return to the Leh city and after lunch visit the beautiful Stok Palace that lies on the bank opposite to Tsangspo River.  Spend night at the hotel.

Day 6: Leh - Chumathang

Next morning drive to Chumathang the place known for its hot springs. The hot springs at Chumathang are protected area as its water is believed to have great medicinal qualities. These hot springs are visited by large number of locals from various parts of Ladakh to get relieve from there pains. Stop midway to visit beautiful villages of Nurnis, Kery and Kadgam. Upon reaching Chumathang, get accommodated at one of listed tent accommodations. Overnight to be spent in tents.

Day 7: Chuma-Thang – Sumdo

Early in the morning start trekking to the beautiful Sumdo, the place that marks the meeting point of two rivers. Earlier it was very difficult to cross this river, but the construction of the modern suspension bridge has made it convenient to cross the river. This bridge is the gateway to enter the Zanskar valley. Enjoy overnight stay at the Camps in Sumdo.

Day 8: Sumdo - Tsomoriri

Early in the morning start for a full day excursion to the Tsomoriri Lake.  En-route visit the Sumdah Village. After visiting the village, drive for another 55kms to visit Tsomoriri lake that is breeding ground for varied species of birds. It is one of the most breathtaking fresh water lakes in Ladakh. Enjoy an overnight stay in tents.

Day 9: Tsomoriri (Karzok)

Post breakfast, head forward to visit Korzok village to view the beauty its Gompa and houses the view of which is mesmerizing also visit the barley fields at Korzok that are amongst the highest cultivation in the world. In the afternoon take a walk in the area around the lake. Relish the delicious dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 10: Karzok - Tsokar

In the morning drive straight to Tsokar Lake. Stop midway at Puga for break. Tsokar Lake is renowned as the white lake for the salt deposited around it. Tsokhar Lake is so salty that salt extracted from its margins are still sold all over Ladakh. Enjoy comfortable overnight stay in the tents.

Day 11: Tsokar - Leh

Early morning after breakfast, leave for Leh to enjoy rafting on Indus River which starts from Phe to Nimu. Enjoy lunch on the banks of river Indus. Return back to the hotel by afternoon. Night at the hotel.

Day 12: Leh

Enjoy full day excursion to Khardongla pass, the highest motorable pass in the world. The Khardhongla  Pass offers its visitors with the view snow capped mountains. Late in the afternoon return to the hotel, at Leh. Enjoy night stay at the hotel.

Day 13: Leh - Delhi

In the morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch a flight for Delhi. After arriving Delhi airport transfer to hotel for wash and changing. Then proceed to international airport to board a connecting flight to onward destination.
