 One of the most populated towns in the northern state of Uttaranchal in India -Haldwani is and is also referred as the "Gateway of Kumaon”.
Haldwani is significant as one of the five sacred confluences in the hills, and the site is hailed as a place of considerable natural forces as well as spiritual forces.
