Pindari Glacier lies between the Nanda Devi (7816 m) and Nandakot peaks of the Himalayas and the glacier terminates at an altitude of 3627 m. The landscape here features an elevated platform, consisting of snow-capped mountains, with the Nanda Devi occupying the center. Pindari Glacier is at the lower edge of the platform. The Kaphni and Sundherdhunga glaciers lie to the east and west of Pindari.
