Day 01 – Arrive in Delhi
Our Indian Holiday representative will be waiting at the Delhi Airport to greet you upon your arrival. From there you will be transferred to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay will be in the Houseboat.
Day 02 – Srinagar
Start with a refreshing morning Shikara ride to the backwaters of the lake. As the Shikara paddles through Lotus and Lily beds, vegetable gardens, floating gardens, you wish you could fish in the lake. After a short lunch break at the houseboat you go on a sightseeing tour including the Mughal garden of Nishat and Shalimar built in 16th century by Mughals.
Overnight stay will be in houseboat.
Day 03 - Srinagar - Sonamarg (84 kms/03 hrs)
After an early breakfast, we drive to Sonamarg. The drive through the scenic landscapes and beautiful little villages situated on the banks of river Sindh is just a preview of what is in store for you at Sonamarg (7200 fts) also called the meadow of Gold. The efflorescence of wild flowers blooming in summer and the lovely view of the Himalayas charms one and all. Welcome to your heavenly abode as we camp on the river Sindh for next 3 nights. The camps are comfortably furnished with beds, chairs, carpets etc. for the convenience of the guests. Spend a lazy afternoon in the camp or fish in River Sindh. Dinner at overnight stay will be at camp.
Day 04 - Sonamarg
Enjoy a full day of fishing with expert Gillies, or Shikaries, these men know the waters intimately - in many cases their fathers and grandmothers before them have accompanied visiting anglers on fishing trips. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05 – Sonamar
Enjoy another full day of fishing. Take a leisurely walk in the evening or rest around the camp.
Day 06 - Sonamarg – Srinagar
Catch up on your sleep, as the morning is free, though in the afternoon we rive back to houseboat for overnight stay.
Day 07 - Srinagar
Rest for the entire day. Enjoy an exciting Shikara ride to back waters in the evening. Overnight stay will be at the houseboat.
Day 08 - Srinagar
Start your day with a power breakfast as the day is slated for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers. You can go horse riding or play golf on the highest nine hole course in the world. We drive back to houseboat in the Afternoon. Overnight stay will be at the houseboat.
Day 09 - Srinagar
Visit the famous Shankaracharya Temple and Kashmir museum on the morning sightseeing tour. In the afternoon, visit the Jesus Christ Tomb & Jamia Masjid. Overnight stay will be at the houseboat.
Day 10 - Srinagar - Delhi - Agra
You will be transferred back to the Airport for flight to Delhi after breakfast. As you arrive at Delhi, you will be picked up from the Airport and driven to Agra. On arrival check in into hotel. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 11 - Agra
A morning sightseeing tour of the city includes visit to the world famous Taj Mahal and Red Fort. This is followed by an afternoon excursion to old deserted town of Mughal dynasty. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 12 - Agra - Delhi
Drive back to Delhi in the morning, enroute-visiting Sikandara. Check-in into a hotel on arrival. Be geared to enjoy a half day combined city tour of Delhi in the afternoon. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 13 - Departure - Delhi
On time transfers to Airport, from where you board your flight for your onward destination or fly back home with lifetime memories of the Angling & Fishing tour India.
