Visitors to India are familiar to the strong and elegant creature called Horse. But very few have the experience of the exciting ride on the back of this animal. A Horse Safari Tour. A test of resilience and character with conditions similar to that of a Camel Safari. We arrange for such tours in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The journey is made exciting with bonfires and folk entertainment provided by local artists. A journey to savor!
Day 01 – Arrival in Bangalore
After reaching Bangalore check in to your respective hotels. The afternoon tour of the city covers Lalbagh & Vidhan Soudha and more. Stay at the hotel in the night.
Day 02 – Bangalore to Mysore (139 kms)
Reach Mysore after a road journey from Bangalore. Check into the hotel and get ready for the afternoon city tour. Append the night at the hotel.
Day 03 – The Horse Safari
0600hrs: An early morning pick up from the hotel for Srirangapattana, the base for the Horse safari. You will be served with coffee/tea on arrival.
0730hrs: The Safari proceeds to Rampura. Halt for breakfast. The green pastures will enthrall you. You will get a chance to meet the locals and get to know about their culture and rituals.
1030hrs: The Safari moves to Darasguppe. Take lunch and rest.
1400hrs: Enjoy the evening tea/coffee at Rajanehalli as the Safari moves on.
1800hrs: The safari moves on towards the Brindavan Gardens showcasing musical fountains lit up by colorful lights.
2000 hrs: The safari returns to the camp for exciting dinner and bonfire. Entertainment by local artists.
Day 04 – The Horse Safari
0700 hrs: after the early morning tea/coffee get ready for a horse ride to the Balmuri Falls. Served with breakfast on arrival. A time to relax at the falls. Enjoy.
1000 hrs: The Safari moves to Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary. Take your lunch on reaching the sanctuary. Enjoy the numerous species of birds along with many migratory ones from Siberia, Australia and North America at the park. You will get to see birds like bill stock, white ibis, Little Egrests etc. The retreats back to Srirangapattana after the evening tea/coffee.
 Day 05 – Journey to Madikeri
Start the day with a drive down to the ‘Scotland of India’, Madikeri. Upon reaching refresh yourself at the hotel and get ready for a tour to Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls, Nisargadhama. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06 – Day in Madikeri
Enjoy the serene beauty and get enthralled in the beautiful atmosphere of Madikeri. Come back and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 07 - Madikeri to Hassan
After your breakfast head straight to Hasan. Take rest after reaching the hotel. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 08 – Excursion to Belur & Halebid,returning back to Hassan
Enjoy a tour to Belur & Halebid. Enjoy the beauty of the places. Return back to the hotel in Hasan for the night.
Day 09 - Hassan to Bangalore via Shravanabelagola
Take a drive to Bangalore via Shravanabelagola. The place is famous as one of the important pilgrimage for the Jains. Reach Bangalore by evening. Evening free to relax. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 10 – Leaving Bangalore
Trip to the airport to catch flight back home.
Alternative Options
Srirangapattana to Ranganthittu Bird Sancturay followed by Balmuri falls - (01 Day)
0600hrs: Get a pick up for Srirangapattnaa, the base for Horse Safari, from the hotel in Mysore. Get served with tea/coffee on arrival.
0730hrs: The Safari starts for Ranganthittu bird sanctuary with the serene beauty forming the backdrop.
0900hrs: have your breakfast on reaching the park. Enjoy the rare sight of the migratory birds along with other avian species.
1300hrs: The Safari moves on to Belogola. On the way a visit to the Balmuri Falls, relax and have lunch. Get a chance to enjoy the coral ride depending on the water level. The caravan moves back to Srirangapattnna or drive back to Mysore.
Excursion to Mysore - Nandi Bull - Lalithadir - Utnahalli - (01 Day)
0730hrs: Journey to Nandi Hill on horse back from Mysore. Visit the Nandi temple and the nandi statue at the entrance. Breakfast will be served there. After resting for a while we move towards Lalithadir from the other side of Nandi Hill not before enjoying the aerial view of the beautiful Mysore Palace, and the city. Halt at Lalithadir, lunch will be served. Return journey back to Mysore with a visit to Uttnahalli falling on the way.
