Allahabad during summer: From April till June
Summers in Allahabad are hot and dry. This is not a recommended time to visit Allahabad, though nights of summers are pleasant. Days are usually sunny and long. Average temperature of the season in Allahabad rises up to 45 degrees Celsius. May and June are the hottest months of the season and these months must be avoided.
Allahabad during monsoon: From July till September
Allahabad during monsoons receives scanty rainfall. Weather in this time stays pleasant, and this indeed is the most recommended time to visit Allahabad. Temperature in monsoon goes up to 35 degrees Celsius and falls as low as 25 degrees Celsius. However, Ganga River in rainy season becomes unpredictable; this might create problem in visiting its topmost attraction, i.e. Sangam. It is advisable to check weather conditions first before planning a visit because of Sangam. But Allahabad’s other attractions like Hanuman Temple, Allahabad Fort, Khusro Bagh, Anand Bhawan, Thorne Hill Mayne Memorial are welcoming during monsoon.
Allahabad during winter: From October till Mid March
Allahabad faces foggy and cold winters. Winter too is a good time to visit Allahabad, with January best avoided. Temperature in winters ranges approximately between 4 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius.
