On a clear day, one may see a stunning view over the sea to the Gateway of India. Mandwa village itself possess a number of charms- not least its aesthetic coconut palm groves. Visitors may spend the night at the beach by erecting tents. There is, however, paucity of accommodation options. The only place to stay is a resort of MTDC. Tents can be hired throughout the year except during the monsoons.
