It honors the dead soldiers of the British Indian Army fighting for the Indian empire. You can find this national monument at the historical site of Rajpath. It has been recognized as the largest war memorials in the whole of India. It is a major landmark of New Delhi and has the Amar Jawan Jyoti burning beside it.
