The Panna National Park, Madhya Pradesh is one of the popular national parks in India. It is located in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is very close to the city of Khajuraho. Created in the year 1981, the Panna National Park is home to a wide range of plants and animals.

Due to the hot climatic conditions, vegetation in the Panna National Park in Madhya Pradesh is mostly dry. Common trees found in the forest are teak, tendu, mahua and other species. The ideal time to come to the national park is between the months of October and March when the weather is pleasant.

Both the government and various wildlife agencies have taken plenty of conservation efforts to protect the Panna National Park. The national park is home to wide species of mammals like leopards, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and so on. In addition to the mammals, the national park is also home to a wide species of reptiles.

A number of migratory birds like honey buzzard, king vulture, bareheaded goose, blossom headed parakeet, white-necked stork, babbler and so on flock the national park.

Travelers can easily come to the Panna National Park in Madhya Pradesh from various parts of the state. The park is located around the village of Madla, which is around 22 kms from the city of Khajuraho. Trekkers, cars and four wheelers ply between the national park and the village of Madla.
