One of the four main pilgrimage centers (Char Dham) in West India, Dwarka in Gujarat is believed to be the gateway to heaven. The city is located on the mouth of the Gomti River and offers you a spiritual ride altogether. The temples and other structures bear significance in history, religion and architecture.
However, the most famous temple of Dwarka is the Dwarkadish Temple, built more than 2500 years ago. It is a must visit site in the city. The pilgrims visit Dwarka throughout the year in a large number, but, the most recommended time to visit is in between the months of October to March. Around this time, the weather is pleasant and cool.
