Celebrated every year in the enchanting hills of Saputara in Gujarat, Monsoon festival is organized by Gujarat tourism to make people aware about the place and its beautiful tourist attractions.
Saputara is the center of focus during this festival. A variety of activities such as adventure sports, crafts Mela, cultural shows and boating are organized during the festival to entertain all the tourists.
Main attractions of the festival include Laser show, craft and food bazaar, film shows, cultural events, games like bamboo balancing, jelly jump, bamboo ball, balloon blowing, ball and bucket, brick walk, tug of war, musical chair, skip master and photo corner. Interesting activities in abundance are offered here to the visitors.
The festival also features a number of adventure activities (over 13 in number) such as water-sports, artificial rock climbing, zip lining, ground obstacles, tree walk, mountain biking, high rope and water zorbing. Many competitions are also organized for children and teenagers. The festival takes place between the monsoon months of July-August.
