The drive to this incredible health resort is an amazing experience in itself. Located at a 30mts drive from the airport by taxi, you are given an introduction as to what awaits you as you pass through the gates. The air, perfumed with the fragrances of jasmine, exhilarates the senses, along with the beautiful and romantic lighting, smiling faces, winding pathways, the sound of the waves lapping on the sand and the many palm leaves swaying in the breeze, give you a sense of belonging. Special Kerala Huts
These rooms contain a ceiling fan or cooling, but are devoid of air conditioning and fridge facilities. All rooms include the Kerala bath garden and a terrace with a table, along with two chairs overlooking the Bethsaida garden.
Seaview Rooms
The Seaview rooms are spacious and airy and provide beautiful views of the ocean, beach and grounds. In the evenings, one can sit on the patio and watch the sunset overlooking the Bethsaida garden, which is a lovely experience in itself. These two rooms are available in two configurations. Two ceiling fans with no air conditioning, and air conditioning with two fans, fridge and a television.
Modern Kerala Cottages
The Modern Kerala Cottages offer partial yet lovey sea view of the Bethsaida garden, with quiet but large living and sleeping areas. This also includes a large ceiling fan and special, closed private bathroom. These lovely cottages, nestled in between the palm trees on a small hill and situated close to the water’s edge, gives the feeling of being one with nature. These cottages are available in two configurations, one with no air conditioning and one with a fan, fridge and television.
Modern Kerala Houses
The Modern Kerala Houses provides breathtaking views of the surroundings. All of these houses have their own raised and private verandah where the guests can relax, sunbathe or enjoy the spectacular view of the sunset overlooking the Bethsaida garden. These houses also include large living and bedroom areas and merge traditional and contemporary details for lovely aesthetics. All of these houses include a fridge, television, ceiling fan and air conditioning.
Kottaram Houses
Kottaram House is where you get the feeling of being on top of the world. Its verandah that embraces the building, takes fullest advantage of its striking position above the beach and provides a view to the guests like no other. This hexagonal building, being double-tiered, also contains a self-ventilating system to keep you cool at all times, and includes a spacious bedroom and living areas. All the houses contain a fridge, television, ceiling fan and air condition.
Wooden Kerala Houses
The Wooden Kerala Houses, built using intricately carved wooden paneling traditional to this area, really acquaints you with the local culture. The rooms provide breathtaking views of the sea from inside and outside. All the Wooden Kerala Houses include a fridge, television, ceiling fan and air conditioning.

Dining

The Bethsaida restaurant offers a variety of Indian, and mostly Kerala dishes, prepared by the talented restaurant team who utilize the fruit and vegetables grown in the resort’s own garden. The seafood delicacies are prepared with fish caught by the local fishermen. During the season from October to April, a particularly fascinating sight is that of the fishermen singing while pulling their nets.

Further, the health resort also prepares the meals according to the taste-buds of the guests, making them less or more spicy, as the requirement may be. For those guests undergoing Ayurvedic treatments, an exclusive Ayurvedic menu is also developed especially by the doctors. The doctors may also prescribe a special diet, depending upon the goals and objectives of the program.

The à la carte menu also consists of a great selection of Western dishes if experiencing a taste of home is what you are after. However, the local cuisine is worth trying, both for its authenticity and its unique taste. Guests uncomfortable with the presence of excessive spice in their food can get it prepared according to their choice.
