On the faade of cave three the plinth has relief works of ganas. This cave dedicated to Lord Vishnu has sculptures of great artistic acumen; epitome of Deccan art. It gives insight to the lifestyle and costumes of the 6th century Badami culture. There are spectacular relief works of Vishnu as Narasimha, Varaha, Harihara, Vishnu with the hooded serpent and Vishnu as Trivikrama.
