Sprawling over four acres of land, Radha Rasbihariji Temple, commonly known as ISKCON Temple, is one of the most beautiful temples in Mumbai. Located near the beautiful Juhu beach, the ISKCON temple is one of the most popular attractions in Mumbai city. The temple, dedicated to Radha-Krishna and the eight companions of Radha, dates back to 1978.

As soon as you enter the temple, the musical chants of Hare Rama and Hare Krishna- the supreme mantra- surround your soul and take you to a completely different world of peace. At the temple, you will find devotees of Radha Krishna chanting the supreme mantra and swaying their arms in the air. These devotees soak in the holy rhythm of God and feel spiritually connected to Radha Krishna.

ISKCON Temple Architecture

The architecture of the temple is spectacular. Both the interiors and exteriors of the temple feature beautiful murals and sculptures. The central prayer hall of the temple has paintings portraying the incidents from the life of Lord Krishna. Every evening in the prayer hall, the temple witnesses devotees praying to Lord Krishna with immense faith.

ISKCON Temple Mumbai Timings and Entry Fee

The day’s events at the sacred site begin with a magnificent Mangala Arati at 4.30 am, when the temple opens its doors to pilgrims. After that, the temple maintains a daily schedule for darshan, pujas, aratis, and discourse. The temple is closed between 1 and 4.30 pm. At ISKCON Mumbai, Shayana Arati, which is set to begin at 8.30 pm, concludes each day’s activities.

  • Prabhupada Quarters can be visited between 5.30 pm and 8.30 pm
  • The library can be accessed on all days of the week, from 11 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm.

  • There is a parking garage inside the complex.
  • Bookings for ISKCON Temple rooms must be made at least 40 days in advance.
