Temple tanks - These tanks are known as holy water bodies, there are many in Rameshwaram but 24 of these are most scared. Bathing in these tanks are considered important and is equivalent to penance.

Gandhamathana Parvatham - It is 3 kms from Ramanathaswamy temple, and there is a hall where you can see Lord Rama’s footprint on a wheel. The RamarpathamTemple is located on this hillock and is considered the highest point in Rameshwaram.

Dhanushkodi - the southernmost tip of the island that houses the Kothandaramaswamy Temple dedicated to Rama.Though Dhanushkodi was washed away during the 1964 cyclone, the temple alone remained intact.
