Settled around 2km east of Port Blair, Ross Island is one of the main tourist spots in Andaman and Nicobar. In earlier times, before the natural disaster, Ross Island was the capital city of group of Island for almost 73 years. In today’s time the place is under the control of Indian Navy. Every year tourist from all parts of the globe visit this Island to see the relics of pre-independence India. One can see the ruins of church, buildings and a museum representing the British architecture.
