By Road

Tirupati is connected with nearby cities and towns by APSRTC buses, privately owned buses and taxis. In order to commute to and from Karnataka, KSRTC buses are the best option.

Tirupati’s Airport is located in Renigunta, at a distance of about 15 km. This airport is connected to Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Nearest International Airport from Tirupati is in Chennai, at the distance of approximately 200 km. Chennai International Airport is an important airport and has flights from different parts of the world. From Chennai you can board a Koyembdu bus number 70 for Tirupati, or can simply get a taxi for Chennai Railway station and catch a train for Tirupati.
