Art of Living International Center

Established in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Art of Living Foundation Bangalore is a humanitarian, educational, non-governmental, and volunteer-based organization. The foundation has its centers all across the globe, in around 150 countries. Art of Living Foundation has its international headquarters in Bangalore.

This recreational center aims to nourish and strengthen individuals so that they can leave behind all their stress and concerns. Segregated into different durations, the programs offered by the center make one experience a unique spiritual journey. The foundation provides a variety of courses that promise to transform one’s life and take it in a positive direction.

How to reach Art of Living International Center

The Art of Living International Center is located on Kanakapura Road in Udayapura, Bangalore. From Kempegowda International Airport, you can take a taxi or cab to reach this center and cover the distance of 60 km. The duration would be around 1 hour 40 minutes.

From the Bangalore Railway station, the distance would be about 25 km, which you can cover within 1 hour of the ride. Being one of the must-visit places of Bangalore, you can reach here from any point of the city by choosing various transport modes.

If you are coming from your vehicle, head southwest of Kanakpura Road and go through Banashankari and Konanakunte to reach the Art of Living International Center.

Vishalakshi Mantap: It is one of the most significant attractions of this Center. It is a meditation hall that is built in modern and Vedic Architecture. The element of lotus design incorporated with this structure adds a layer of spirituality as it is the holiest symbol in Hinduism.

Sri Sri Gurukul: This education center follows the Gurukul system for learning. Moreover, various courses are offered here, including Vedic Mathematics, Vedas, Jyothisham, and Sanskrit.

Sumeru Mantap: Take a tour of this open-air auditorium, one of the most appealing activities in Bangalore's Art of Living Center. This Mantap features 12 pairs of pillars that depict the 12 zodiac signs in India's astrology. Being settled at the highest point of this Center allows you to observe the surroundings and the complete campus.

Guru Paduka Vanam: It is one of the most appealing attractions of this center. This is an open amphitheater that is designed to give shelter to those who are on a spiritual journey. Its structure resembles a paduka, Guru's Feet, and it can accommodate thousands of people at one time.
