About Nagaland Science Centre
This science centre was established under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Nagaland. It was constructed by the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. And finally, on 14th September 2004, Nagaland Science Centre was opened to the people by the Honorable former Chief Minister of Nagaland, Shri. Neiphiu Rio.
The knowledge and information that this science centre provides are ideal to temper the minds of the younger generation. The aim is to popularize science in Nagaland and uplifts science literacy through exhibits and science programmes. All these programmes enable vistos to learn science in a new, fun, and exciting way.

Nagaland Science Centre is open from 10 am to 4 pm on all days except on Mondays and State Government’s holidays.
The entry charges for Nagaland Science Centre is INR 10 per person. There is free entry for police/ military personnel in uniform, differently-abled and children below 3 years old.

Winter and summer both are considered a great time to visit Nagaland Science Centre. During these times, the weather is quite pleasant and is perfect for exploring the centre. October to March are the best months to visit Nagaland as the rainfall will not bother you.

By air - The main airport of Dimapur Airport and is well-connected with major Indian cities. From outside the airport, you can take a taxi or a cab to the Nagaland Science Centre.
By train - Dimapur railway station is the main railway station in Dimapur. You can get several taxis to reach the Nagaland Science Centre.
By road - Nagaland State Transport Corporation buses will take you to the Dimapur bus stand. From there, you can take an autorickshaw to the Nagaland Science Centre.
