The beta version of the very popular Calangute and Baga, the Canaguinim beach in Goa is the ideal spot to enjoy a laid back day. Perfect place to go undisturbed, the Canaguinim beach lets you enjoy the gentle waves of the Arabian sea by lying on the sandy texture of the sea shore. The beach is located in the southern part of Goa, close to the town of Quepem Taluka. The magical fusion of pristine beach environment and lush green sea shore of the Canaguinim is divided into two-North Canaguinim and South Canaguinim.

The best time of the year to visit the pristine and calm Canaguinim beach is anytime between the months of October and March.

Beach Activities :

There is not so much to do on the Canaguinim beach in Goa, except a nice swim in the warm waters of the Arabian or a stroll on the sandy beach. Although not much of an activity inducing beach, the Canaguinim yet manages to offer its visitors some really good sites to photograph.

How to Reach :

The southern part of Goa is very well connected with the capital city of Panaji by road. From here, buses to South Goa run on a regular basis. Apart from state transport, one can easily get bikes or other two-wheelers on rent to explore around Goa.
