On the eastern border of Goa lies the Bhagvan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Just 65 kms from Panaji, this sanctuary has different animals like Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Porcupine, Wild Dog and Leopard Cat.

Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary:

This is another beautiful sanctuary which is Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary which is one of the smallest preserves of Goa. The sanctuary has a small zoo which was originally built to shelter the orphaned animals.
