ISKCON Temple Bangalore

The ISKCON organization that professes Krishna Consciousness believes true happiness lies in spiritual seeking. Spiritual seekers join the organization to find deeper truths of life. ISKCON Temple Bangalore has a magnificent temple built over a hillock that attracts tourists all round the year.

ISKON temple of Bangalore or the Sri Radha Krishna temple is an architectural splendor constructed on a seven-acre hillock. It is built in a neo classical style combining elements of traditional architecture with modern utilities. The Rajagopuram is decorated with ornamental arches and illuminated water cascades. Concerts and festivals take place in the open-air amphitheatre in the premises of the temple. There are four temple gates called the 'gopurams'. The gates are connected with a glazed glass canopy that forms the main hall that holds the Hari Naam Kirtan. The total area of the hall is around 10,000sq. feet. Wall paintings found in the ceiling add another dimension to the existing spiritual atmosphere. The temple has Vedic museums, landscaped gardens, exhibition halls and a lecture hall with multiple language translation system. The Iskcon Temple Bangalore has a Vedic theatre hall that holds great attraction. Vedic films are shown in the theatre.
