Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary

Headquartered in the Peechi, Thrissur district of Kerala, Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary is a treat for nature lovers. Established in the year 1958, this reserved area in Peechi is part of the Palapilli-Neelliampathhy forests. With a coverage area of 125 sq km, it forms the northern boundary of the Chimmini sanctuary. The diversified fauna of the place include leopard, tiger, jungle cat and Indian bison.
