Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary

The Shendurney Wildlife sanctuary was established in 1984 and is located in the western ghat region of South India. With a coverage area of 171 sq kms, the wildlife sanctuary comes under the control of the Agasthyamalai Biosphere reserve.  Highly endangered, the Lion-tailed Macaque can be spotted in this sanctuary of Kerala. Besides, the place also has a presence of the Great Eared Nightjar bird.
