The land where Lord Krishna the most adorable and beloved incarnation of Lord Vishnu is supposed to have been born and spent his youth is called Brajbhumi. This land abounds in several little towns and hamlets that still sing the song of Krishna’s birth and bask in the glory of those days when lord used to play his mellifluous flute. Today Brajbhumi is segregated into two main towns such as Mathura and Vrindavan. Mathura is a quaint town located on the river Yamuna. It was blessed by the birth of the Lord Krishna. Vrindavan on the other hand is an attractive village graced with fragrant groves. It is the place where Krishna spent his most eventful period of life i.e. youth.
