Jaisalmer is one of the famous places in Rajasthan for camel safari tour. The camel safaris here include a tour through the various “dhanis” (cluster of huts) that lie on the route, interacting and spending some quality time with the villagers and enjoying the several cultural programs that showcase the culture and tradition of the region. One of the best places to enjoy a safari here is the Sam Sand Dunes.

For a delightful camel safari experience, one should visit Pushkar during the occasion of the Pushkar Camel Fair. Extending to about five days, this annual camel and livestock fair is one of the world’s largest cattle fairs. A camel ride here takes you to the villages where you can observe the rustic lifestyle of the people, as well as the isolated sand dunes.
