Renowned for its association with the Sufi Saint, Sai Baba, the town of Shirdi, is largely visited by people from all over. Although a small and quaint town, it has its share of attractions that not only draws devotees but also history and art lovers. To start with the Shirdi tour, one can choose to visit the Samadhi Mandir, which is a world renowned temple of Sai Baba. On the right of the temple is Dwarkamayee Masjid, which is also associated with Sai Baba.
Other religious structures related to him are Chavadi, Gurusthan and Lendibagh. All of these are in proximity to the main shrine of Sai Baba, the Samadhi temple. Other than that, the village of Shirdi also showed its devotion to Lord Shiva, by constructing a temple, named Khandoba temple. The foundation of this temple was laid a long time before, and is one of the oldest temples at Shirdi. The village also has Dixit Wada Museum, where various belongings of Sai Baba are put on display.
