How to Reach Madhuri Lake Tawang
Madhuri Lake, located approx. 36 km from Tawang, and it takes around 1.5 hours to reach. Also, you need a special permit from the District Commissioner’s Office at Tawang to visit Madhuri Lake. No foreigners are allowed to visit the lake.
You can hire a private car to reach Madhuri lake. The roads are not so smooth and have 50 plus hairpin bends and narrow gravel roads unguarded by rails. However, the views of snow-clad peaks, glaciers, and water bodies make this road trip enchanting.
