Anglers are likely to have a great time fishing at the place, thanks to the availability of fishes like malee and mahseer in the river, as well as the lake. This park is also the home to more than 300 classes of birds. Some of the common birds that you can see are wood pecker, herons, snipe, egrets, spotted eagle, harrier, cormorants, darter and thrushes. The Nanda Devi National Park, located near the Nanda Devi Peak, is spread on a sprawling land of over 630 sq. kms. Set up in 1980, this park boasts of an exclusive combination of fauna and flora. Some species of fauna that you can witness here consist of chir and nonal pheasants, snow leopard, bharal, brown as well as Himalayan black bear, Himalayan thahr, to name a few.
