Yoga in Rishikesh

Yoga is the need of mind, body and soul. This technique was introduced in India and today, it is performed in different parts of the whole world. It was found in 1942 by Pujya Swami Shukhdevanandji Maharaj and is the largest ashram of the city.

There are yoga activities like Vinyasa Yoga, General Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra which are performed; along with satsang, meditation classes, morning prayers, Ayurvedic treatment and training. On special occasions, the ashram organizes spiritual and cultural events. In these events there are performances by great musicians and spiritual leaders. Besides events there are camps too, and these camps are joined by the people coming from across the globe.
