During Asiatic Lions with the Bengal Tigers tour, you can spot these exotic species of wildlife with us. Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

Arrive at Mumbai International Airport or railway station and our tour representative will meet you at your respective arrival point. You will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check in formalities and relax. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Mumbai.

Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing Tour

On the 2nd day of the tour, post breakfast you will proceed for a full day guided tour of Mumbai. You will reach Mumbai harbor to board a ferry for Elephanta Island, which houses caves and temples. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the caves feature Buddhist and Hindu temples that are dated back to 2,000 years old. Later in the afternoon, after the exploration tour, take a ferry back to Mumbai.

After lunch, you will be taken to Gateway of India for a photo shoot and sightseeing tour. Later, you will be visiting the Prince of Wales Museum where you can see interesting artifacts of Indus Valley civilization. Then you will proceed towards Mani Bhavan, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. In the evening, you are free to go shopping.

After the sightseeing tour, you will return to the hotel. Enjoy a delicious diner at the hotel and have a sound sleep.

Day 3: Mumbai to Diu (By Air) - Gir National Park (70 Km - 2 Hours’ Drive)

Wake up to a hearty meal on the 3rd day of the tour and complete the check out formalities from the hotel. Proceed towards Mumbai Airport to board a flight for Diu. On arrival at Diu Airport, our tour representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Gir National Park, which is renowned as the only habitat of the world's popular Asiatic Lion.

Upon arrival at Gir, check in at the pre-booked hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Gir National Park

On the 4th day of the tour, wake up early in the morning and proceed for a jeep safari in the Gir National Park. Also known as Sasan Gir, it is home to almost 400 species of plants and more than 2,000 species of fauna. This is a land of Asiatic Lions and an ideal reserve for tremendous varieties of wild creatures. During the jeep safari, you can spot some of the exotic species of wildlife in their natural habitat in the early morning. You can also see some of the amazing birds here as it is also a paradise for bird watchers.

After the morning safari, return to the hotel and have a scrumptious breakfast. Later in the afternoon, you can opt for another round of jeep safari inside the national park. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 5: Gir National Park - Diu - Nagpur (By Air)

Post breakfast, pack your bags and complete the check out formalities at the hotel. Proceed towards Diu Airport to board the flight for Nagpur, which is fondly referred to as ‘Orange City’. Upon your arrival in Nagpur, our tour representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Complete the check in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Enjoy a toothsome dinner at the hotel and have a sound sleep in your cozy bed.

Day 6: Nagpur - Kanha National Park

After having a hearty meal, check out from the hotel, and proceed towards Kanha National Park, which is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh. This park was an inspiration behind the popular novel by Rudyard Kipling, ‘The Jungle Book’. Spread in 940 sq. km of land, this national park is home to Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, leopards, and Barasinghas.

Upon arrival at the national park, check-in at the pre-booked resort. The rest of the day at leisure and you can indulge yourself in leisure activities. Overnight stay at the resort.

Travel Time: 5 hours 30 minutes (approx.)

Day 7: Kanha National Park

On the 7th day of the tour, wake up early in the morning and proceed for a jeep safari in Kanha National Park. Home to verdant species of flora and fauna, Kanha National Park also houses more than 1000 species of the flowering plant. You can spot some of the exotic species of wildlife during the safari tour. After spotting the wonderful animals, return to the hotel and have a delectable breakfast. Relax for a while and freshen up.

Later in the afternoon, get ready to proceed for the jeep safari tour. During a wildlife safari tour, you can catch glimpses of varied animals and birds like, Royal Bengal Tiger, Chausingha, Nilgai, mouse deer, jackal fox, sambar, peafowl, mongoose, leopard, and python. Also, you can see a range of birds such as kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, and rock pigeons. You will also visit the Bamni Dadar, which is a sunset point and a major attraction inside the park.

In the evening, return to the hotel after the sightseeing tour of the national park. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 8: Kanha - Bandhavgarh National Park

Greet the beautiful day with a hearty meal and then complete the check out formalities. Hit the road to visit Bandhavgarh National Park. Upon arrival, you will have assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at your leisure and you can enjoy a nature walk near the resort.

Relish the mouth-watering dinner and have a sound sleep in your room.

Day 9: Bandhavgarh National Park

On the 9th day of the tour, wake up early in the morning to embark on the morning safari tour of the national park. This bio-diverse park is spread at Vindhya Hills and is renowned for the large population of Royal Bengal Tigers. The national park is also densely populated with other species of wildlife such as Gaur, Sambar, Nilgai, Barking Deer, Indian Wolf, and Striped Hyena. You can spot magnificent species of flora and fauna. After the morning safari tour, return to the hotel and have breakfast. Relax for a while and freshen up.

Later in the afternoon, visit the national park for bird watching along with tiger-tracking. During the jeep safari tour, you will catch sight of a number of colorful birds such as Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, Olive Backed Pipit, Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, and Rose Ringed Parakeet.

Also visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, which is located inside the park. The fort is situated on a hill and is believed to be 2000–years old. The fort has a total of 39 caves. After the exploration tour, return to the hotel in the evening. Delight in the toothsome dinner and have a restful sleep in your room.

Day 10: Bandhavgarh - Jabalpur (170 Km - 4 Hours’ Drive) – Delhi / Mumbai Departure (By Air)

On the last day of the tour, after having breakfast, complete the check out formalities from the hotel and proceed to Jabalpur Airport to board the flight for Delhi or Mumbai.
