Itinerary Details
Day 1: Bangalore – Delhi

At the beginning of the first day of your Char Dham Yatra from Bangalore, you will arrive in Delhi where you will have a warm welcome by our representatives in a traditional Indian style who will escort you and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Upon your arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel in Delhi. After refreshing yourself, enjoy your one day stay in Delhi. The rest of the day is at leisure and you can spend some your time in the hotel room or you can free to explore the surroundings and beauty of the city.

Day 2: Delhi – Haridwar

On the 2nd day of the Char Dham Yatra, you will head towards the Haridwar after having a refreshing breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel and proceed for an assisted drive to Haridwar via road.

Upon your arrival at Haridwar, check-in into your pre-booked hotel. After refreshing yourself, you are free to explore the surroundings and beauty of the city. One of the holy places for Hindus, Haridwar is mostly visited by devotees of Lord Shiva and River Goddess Ganga.

Situated at the feet of the marvelous Shivalik range,' Haridwar' literally means the entrance to God's realm and is a perfect gateway to the grandiose Ganges. It is believed that the enormous River Ganges poured down from the thick locks of Lord Shiva. The same place where the great Suryavanshi Prince Bhagirath performed severe repentances to salvage the souls of his ancestors who were cursed by the great sage Kapila.

In the evening, visit the largest holy bathing Ghats of Haridwar, Har-ki-Pauri and partake in the wonderful Ganga Aarti. The view of hundreds of floating earthen lamps is a breathtaking sight.

Return to the hotel for lavish dinner and enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

Day 3: Haridwar – Barkot / Kharsali

On the third day on your pilgrimage course, you will head towards Barkot / Kharsali. Start your beautiful day with an early morning breakfast. After breakfast, you will start the scenic drive to Barkot / Kharsali through Dehradun via Mussoorie. You will stop at wonderful Kempty Falls, the name Kempty is probably derived from the word "Camp – tea". After enjoying the cool ambiance here, continue with your journey to Barkot / Kharsali.

Upon arrival in Barkot / Kharsali, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure and you can take a stroll near the resort.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Barkot / Kharsali.

Day 4: Barkot / Kharsali – Yamunotri – Barkot / Kharsali

After breakfast at the residing hotel, you will leave for Yamunotri. The 7 km trek can be covered either on foot or by hiring a Pony, Doli and Palanquin (palki) at your own cost. Before performing the religious rituals, you should take bath at Jamunabai Kund's warm water. There are numerous thermal springs in the surrounding area of the temple, which flows down into many pools.

The most important out of those is the Surya Kund. One can take a holy dip in the nearby tank filled by hot springs and cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Kund. These common rituals are performed by the devotees. Pilgrims take this cooked rice to home as "Prasad".

After that, you will pay a visit to the Divya Shila. Offer puja before the rock pillar of 'Divya Shila'. The rock pillar is being worshipped before entering the temple. Enter the Yamunotri Temple procuring the blessings of Goddess Yamuna. One takes a holy dip in Yamuna's chilly water if one dares to! Afterward, we will trek down till Jankichatti.

In the evening, you will head back to the hotel in Barkot. Rest and rewind in its cozy atmosphere.

Day 5: Barkot / Kharsali – Uttarkashi

After enjoying a hearty meal at the hotel you will check-out from your hotel and we will drive you to Uttarkashi. On arriving, check-in to the pre-booked hotel here. The rest of the day is at leisure; you can spend some time in the hotel room or you can free to explore the surroundings and beauty of the city.

Uttarkashi – the Kashi of the North is nestled along the banks of the holy river Bhagirathi. It is believed that Lord Shiva resided in the city. The temple of Kashi Vishwanath is located here, in fact, a massive iron trident is the matter of captivation. It is considered itself to be an epitome of Shakti herself. Visit the temple for blessings here.

Later, you will return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest at Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

After having breakfast you will leave towards Gangotri early in the morning which is situated at 99 km from Uttarkashi. The drive will take you along the magnificent sights of Bhagirathi's course and the view of twisting Himalayan peaks. En-route you will be able to enjoy the enchanting views and charming natural beauty of Harsil village.

The Gangotri Temple is an ancient temple of the 18th century erected with white marble and it is situated on the banks of River Bhagirathi. It was constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa. One can dare to take a dip in the holy waters of Bhagirathi in spite of its temperature being icy cold, which acquires the name Ganga from Devprayag onwards where it meets Alaknanda.

Adore yourself with the blissful darshan of Goddess Ganges at her the shrine. There are also statues of Lord Shiva, Ganesha and King Bhardwaj in its compound. After darshan at the Gangotri Temple, you will drive back to your hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 7: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

On the way to Guptkashi enjoy the beautiful views of river Mandakini at Tilwara, which originates in Kedarnath. On arrival in Guptkashi, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Later proceed further for Kedarnath Pre-registration.

The name Guptkashi means "Hidden Benares". It is also known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is same as to one in Varanasi (Kashi). As per the legends, it is also believed that Lord Shiva stayed here hidden form the Pandava brothers who were searching for a glimpse of the Lord.

This place has the picturesque milieus of the snow-covered peaks of Chaukhamba, where you can enjoy salubrious weather of the surrounding and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Guptkashi on its way to Ukhimath.

Get back to the hotel for a splendid dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 8: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath

In the early morning after having breakfast, drive onwards to Sonprayag. Our driver will graciously drop you at Sonprayag. Reach the Gaurikund from where you can start the trek. You can also take a bath in the hot water pond here and visit Gauri Temple. It is the base of a trek to Kedarnath.

The perilous trek towards the Kedarnath shrine begins from Gaurikund. You can also hire a pony/ palanquin to assist in one's ascension. There is also a provision for helicopter facilities to take you till the shrine and one can ponder at your own cost. It is important that you carry your personal things like medicines, woolen clothes, etc. with you before starting your trek.

The mount abode of God Shiva is situated at a height of 3553 m. The Kedarnath shrine is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. This picturesque spot positioned beside the backdrop of the royal Kedarnath range. Kedar is one more name of Lord Shiva, the creator, and the destroyer. Kedarnath and these above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar. Beseech you to seek the Lord and attain the salvation of your soul here.

Day 9: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi

Get ready for an early morning Darshan. Take shower and reach the temple for the Abhishek ceremony of the idol of the Lord. Offer puja and take blessings of God.

After Kedarnath Temple Darshan, trek down to Sonprayag. Later, you will drive to Guptkashi.

Check-in at the hotel for rest and after refreshing yourself, enjoy your stay. The rest of the day is at leisure; you can spend some time in the hotel room or you are free to reconnoiter the surroundings and beauty of the city. You can also choose to explore the market in the city.

Day 10: Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath

Early in the morning enjoy your delicious breakfast at the hotel. After that check out from the hotel and we will drive towards Badrinath via Joshimath.

You are welcome to discover the Badri Valley to your heart's delight and enjoy the picturesque scenery en-route Badrinath which comprises one of the 'Four Dhams' and the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country, located between the two mountain ranges Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a wonderful backdrop. The place also got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries", and this esteemed spot was once carpeted with wild berries.

Upon your arrival at Badrinath, you will have an assisted check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening visit Badrinath Temple and attend the Aarti and seeks blessings from the Lord Badri.

Return to the hotel and enjoy the delicious dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Badrinath.

Day 11: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

Early morning, pilgrims go for the customary bath in the Taptkund before entering the Badrinath Temple. Have Darshan of Badri Vishal and take blessings of God. On the platform on the bank of river Alaknanda, Hindus perform mollifying rites for their deceased ancestors.

Later in the rest of the day get ready for sightseeing spots. Pay a visit to the Mana Village and the other temples in the cluster, if time allowing you. Later drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath.

Check in to the hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight stay is arranged here for you at Rudraprayag.

Day 12: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar

After an early meal, you will drive back to Haridwar. We will halt at Rishikesh. The 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of River Ganga and is surrounded by the scenic beauty of the hills on three sides.

According to mythology, it is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of" Hrishikesh" and from that time this region came to be known as Rishikesh.

This holy town is also well-known as the Yoga capital of the world. You can also explore these famous attractions like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Bharat Mandir, Triveni Ghat, and Sivananda Ashram.

Later in the evening, you can attend Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram.

Drive back to Haridwar. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

One may continue to procure blessings of Lord Badrinarayan, purify yourselves with a bath in the Tapt Kund. The natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda offer water with therapeutic qualities. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

Day 13: Haridwar – Delhi

The journey of Char Dham Yatra from Bangalore ends today. After having your breakfast, check- out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. On arrival to the capital city, you will be transferred to Airport / Railway Station to return home.
