7 Sisters Tour Itinerary For 28 Days
Day 1: Arrive in Guwahati

Your tour to the Seven Sister States starts from your arrival at Guwahati airport. Our tour representative will pick you up from the airport and assist you at the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Relax for a while and then you will visit Kamakhya Temple. Enjoy the river cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra in the afternoon and witness the magnificent sunset over the river. The rest of the time is free for shopping in the local market.

After shopping, return to the hotel in the evening. Enjoy the scrumptious dinner and have a sound sleep.

Day 2: Guwahati – Shillong (100 km / 3 Hrs approx.)

Wake up to a beautiful day and have a healthy breakfast. After this, complete the check-out formalities and head towards Shillong. En route, you will visit Umiam Lake. Later, you will head towards Shillong and on arrival, you will complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. After that, the rest of the time is at your leisure.

Day 3: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong( 54 km / 2 Hrs approx.)

Greet the day with a hearty meal and then hit the road to visit Cherrapunjee. This was once regarded as the wettest place on Earth owing to the massive monsoon rainfall. This alluring village is popular for its breathtaking beauty and tourist attractions. You will visit Noh-ka-Likai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Don Bosco Shrine, Wah Kaba Falls, Kynrem Falls, Arwah Cave, and other caves in and around Cherrapunjee.

After the sightseeing tour, return to Shillong and en-route visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong – Mawlynnong - Shillong( 78 km / 2.5 Hrs approx.)

Start your day with a delicious meal and proceed for the sightseeing tour of Mawlynnong. Visit Jingmaham Living Root Bridge, Mawlynnong Village, and waterfalls. After that visit Dawki, which is a small border town in the Jaintia Hills. Here you will visit the Umngot River and enjoy boating in the crystal clear lake.

After enjoying the sightseeing tour, you will leave for Shillong. Return to the hotel, have a flavorsome meal at the hotel, and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 5: Shillong- Bhalukpong( 300 km / 7 Hrs approx.)

On the 5th day of the tour, have a scrumptious meal and then complete the check-out formalities. Head towards Bhalukpong, which is considered the entry point of Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and unwind. After freshening up, you will visit Tipi Orchidarium, which is home to over 2,600 cultivated orchids from 80 different species. Day 6: Bhalukpong – Dirang( 140 km / 4.5 Hrs approx.)

Enjoy the toothsome breakfast and then complete the check-out formalities at the hotel. Head towards Dirang, which is situated on the bank of River Kameng and is a gateway to Tawang. Enjoy the road trip and the scenic vistas en route.

On arrival in Dirang, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and rest for a while. In the afternoon, get ready to visit Dirang Dzong. You will also visit Monpa Village, one of the country's richest biodiversity and heritage spots. Explore the village and you can also talk with the locals to learn about the history and folklore of the village.

Day 7: Dirang – Tawang( 135 km / 4 Hrs approx.)

Start your day with breakfast and then complete the check-out formalities at the hotel. After that, hit the road to reach Tawang. En route, you will visit Sela Pass, a high-altitude mountain pass with an elevation of 4,710 m above sea level. Also, visit Sela Lake, which is located on the top of Sela Pass. Spend some quality time there and relax amidst the serene nature.

Also visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial and Nuranang Fall. Later, head towards Tawang. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities. The rest of the time is at your leisure. Savor the lip-smacking dinner and slip into your cozy bed for a sound sleep.

Day 8: Tawang Sightseeing Tour

On the 8th day of the tour, after having breakfast, embark on the sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse. Also, visit Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the Sixth Dalia Lama and Ani Gompa. Later, you will visit the Tawang War Memorial, dedicated to the martyrs of the Sino-India War of 1962.

In the evening you are free to shop in the local market. Then, enjoy dinner at the hotel and have a sound sleep.

Day 9: Tawang – Bomdila (177 km / 5 Hrs approx.)

Enjoy the delectable breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel, and proceed to Bomdila. En route visit Nag Temple, Bomdila Monastery, and if time permits, also visit Craft Center. After the sightseeing tour, head towards Bomdila.

Day 10: Bomdila – Kaziranga ( 243 km / 7 Hrs approx.)

Day 11: Kaziranga Sightseeing Tour

Wake up early in the morning and proceed for an elephant safari from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM in the western range of the national park. The main attraction of this wildlife park includes One-horned Rhinoceros, tiger, wild buffalo, elephant, deer, python, and a variety of migratory birds.

Later, return to the hotel for refreshment. After breakfast, head towards the nearby local village to see their way of life and livelihood and also visit Tea Garden & Orchid Sanctuary. After the sightseeing tour, savor the lunch and then again proceed to the park for another round of wildlife safari by jeep. The evening time is free for leisure.

Day 12: Kaziranga – Majuli (243 km/ 7hrs approx.)

Start day 12 of your Northeast tour with a flavorsome breakfast. Next, complete the check-out formalities and then leave for Nimati Ghat to take the ferry for Majuli.

After reaching the island, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. First, complete the check-in formalities and relax. Later, you can explore the natural setting of the place and take a leisure walk. Have dinner at the hotel and enjoy a sound sleep.

Day 13: In Majuli

Post breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Majuli. Visit the Kamala Bari Satra and Auniati Satra, which are major Vaishnavite culture centers here. You can also spend time spotting rare birds and the later part of the day spent learning about their traditional arts and crafts with the local people. Witness the practice of Mask Making for Bhaona, the traditional operas which depict stories from Hindu mythology.

In the afternoon, attend a prayer session at the Namghar (temple) and in the evening, you can enjoy the cultural events by the local artists. Afterward, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay and enjoy dinner.

Day 14: Majuli – Kohima (232 km / 7Hrs approx.)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and head towards the Ghat to take the ferry for Jorhat. Upon your arrival to Kohima, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. After freshening up, get ready for the sightseeing tour of Kohima. You will visit the Kohima War Centenary, which has been constructed in the memory of martyrs of the Second World War. It was built by the Japanese force which had invaded the place.

Day 15: Kohima Sightseeing Tour

Day 16: Kohima –Touphema Village – Kohima (34 km / 1 hour)

Day 17: Kohima – Imphal (138 km / 4 hrs approx.)

Day 18: Sightseeing Tour of Imphal

Day 19: Imphal Tour

Wake up to a beautiful day, savor a delicious breakfast, and get ready for the sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Andro Village, which is an offbeat place in Imphal and an amazing place to sneak peek into the rich history of the state.

Afterward, visit the Kangla Fort, which is situated on the bank of the Imphal River. Then you will visit the Ima Market, which women run. You can shop for household stuff, handlooms, and handicrafts as souvenirs. Lastly, you will see the World War II cemetery, which has over 1,600 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War. Day 20: Imphal – Moreh – Imphal ( 108 km / 3Hrs)

Start your day with a healthy breakfast and then leave early in the morning to visit Moreh, which is the Indo-Myanmar border town. On arrival in Moreh, you cross over to the Myanmar side and visit the nearest town of Tamu to witness the local culture and lifestyle. You will also visit the Buddhist Pagoda and the local market. Enjoy shopping in the Namphalong Market and buy some souvenirs for your loved ones.

Later in the evening, return to Imphal. Savor the scrumptious dinner and have a sound sleep in your cozy bed.

Day 21: Imphal – Aizawl (By flight) ( 400 km/ 1 Hrs)

Have a healthy breakfast and then complete the check-out formalities. You will have an assisted transfer to the airport to board the flight for Aizawl.

Upon your arrival in Aizawl, our tour representative will pick you and assist you to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and unwind. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can stroll near the resort or relax in your room. Enjoy dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay in Aizawl.

Day 22: Sightseeing Tour of Aizawl

Relish an appetizing breakfast at the hotel and give a perfect start to your day with a sightseeing tour at Aizawl. You will visit the famous museums, the Zoological Garden in Durtlang, and Handloom and Handicraft centers.

Later, visit a nearby Mizo tribal village where you can observe the traditional lifestyle of the people. You can also enjoy the mesmerizing views of the surrounding region from the village. In the evening, enjoy shopping at the Bara Bazar. You can buy handicrafts, cane and bamboo items, finely woven handloom shawls, and garments.

Return to the hotel after the sightseeing tour of Aizawl. Overnight stay at Aizawl.

Day 23: Aizawl Tour

On the 23rd day of the Northeast tour, embark on the sightseeing tour of the city after breakfast. Visit the State Museum at MacDonald Hill. Also, visit various Handlooms and Handicrafts Centres and enjoy shopping.

In the afternoon, visit a viewpoint situated in the Aizawl Theological College, Durtlang, from where you can enjoy the enchanting view of the city. Later, proceed to Berawtlang Tourist Center, a popular picnic spot. You can spend some quality time there with your loved ones.

Return to the hotel after the Aizawl city tour for a sound sleep.

Day 24: Aizawl - Agartala (By flight) (337 km / 50 min approx.)

Greet the day with the toothsome breakfast and check out from the hotel. Then, head towards Aizawl Airport to board the flight for Agartala. On arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel in Agartala. Complete the check-in formalities and relax. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can spend the day as you wish.

Day 25: Agartala – Unakoti – Agartala

Savor the scrumptious breakfast and then get ready for the sightseeing tour of Unakoti.

Post breakfast proceeds for visiting Unakoti. It is a historic Shaivites pilgrimage spot and dates back to the 7th – 9th centuries.

After the sightseeing tour of this magnificent place, return to Agartala. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 26: Agartala – Neermahal – Agartala (53 km / 1.5 hours approx.)

Greet the early morning, enjoy an appetizing breakfast, and head towards Neermahal for the full-day sightseeing tour. It is a former royal palace built by the king of Tripura, Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishor Manikya.

Afterward visit Tripura Sundari Temple in Matabari, which is also known as Devi Tripureshwari. Seek blessings at the temple and then head towards Agartala. Day 27: Agartala – Udaipur – Agartala ( 50 km / 1 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Udaipur, also known as Rangamati. This city is popular for temples and the most famous of which is the Tripura Sundari temple, which is one of the 51 Shakti Pethas. You will also visit Bhuvaneshwari Temple. Seek blessings at the temples and soak in the blissful aura.

In the afternoon, return to Agartala and the rest of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agartala.

Day 28: Leave Agartala

This is the last of the exploration tour of the Seven Sister States. Post breakfast, complete the check-out formalities from the hotel and have an assisted transfer to Agartala Airport for onward destination.
