Itinerary Details
Day 01: Arrival at Dimapur Airport to Kohima (70km/ 03 Hrs)
You will be picked up from the Dimapur Airport by our representative, and you will be taken to your hotel in Kohima. Upon arrival, you will have to complete the check-in formalities and freshen up.
After this, you will be taken to the famous attraction of the town, which is the memorial point of Kohima. You will then head back to the hotel for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 02: Kohima: Exploring the entire town
After having an early breakfast, you will head to Khonoma. Today, you will have the entire day to explore the village. Check out the craftsmanship of the people- they are excellent when it comes to weaving bamboo and cane.
Explore the entire place and nearby areas to your heart's content. Have a great time with the people, check out their work, and enjoy the local food. You will then return to your hotel in Kohima. Dinner will be served post which you can tuck yourself in the comfortable bed and doze off with the day's memories.
Day 03: Kohima to Touphema (55km/ 1.5 Hrs approx.)
After having your breakfast, complete the check-out formalities. You will now head to your next destination- Toupheme. Upon arrival, check in to your village hut. While you stay here, it will not just give you a unique staying experience, but due to the hillock location of these huts, you will always be greeted by the natural beauty sights whenever you peak out of the window or walk out the door.
Feel free to explore the entire place throughout the day and click tons of pictures. Then, savor the Naga traditional food and the homemade rice beer. Finally, after enjoying the whole day, get back to your hut, have your dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 04: Touphema to Kohima
Post having your breakfast, you will be taken back to Kohima. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and complete the formalities. Then, take some rest until lunch is served. Post this, you will be taken to the Dimori Cove where you will enjoy the famous Hornbill festival. After an eventful day, you will be taken to the hotel in the evening. Finally, dinner will be served, and there will be an overnight stay.
Day 05: Kohima to Imphal (140 km / 4 hours)
After having a filling breakfast, you will be taken to Imphal. Upon arrival, you will have to complete the check-in formalities and rest for some time. Once you have freshened up, you will be taken to the Govindajee Temple. After offering your prayers to the Lord, the rest of the evening can be spent at your leisure. Post that, dinner will be served, and you can comfort yourself in your room.
Day 06: Imphal: Exploring the town
After having breakfast, you will be taken to the Keibul Lamjao National Park. After spending some time at the national park, you will visit the largest freshwater lake in North-East India- Loktal Lake. Post this Japanese War Memorial, and INA Memorial will be on your list. After an eventful day, you will be brought back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 07: Imphal: Visit the Indo-Myanmar border
You will leave the hotel early to visit the Indo-Myanmar border. It will be a 3-hour drive to Moreh, and after the government’s approval, you will cross over to the Tamu town of Myanmar. Click some pictures around, and take a quick visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and the Local Market like Namphalong. After an enjoyable day, you will be brought back to Imphal. Dinner will be served to you at the hotel, after which you can take a nap in your cozy bed.
Day 08: Imphal: Excursion to Ukhrul
After having an early breakfast, you will be taken to the mesmerizing hill town of Ukhrul. Spend some time tasting their local cuisines and enjoying your time amongst the locals. After a full day of enjoyment, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 09: Imphal: Bidding a final bye to Imphal
After having a delicious breakfast, you will have to complete the check-out formalities. Post this; you will then be assisted to the airport for your onward journey.
