Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrive at the Cochin airport/railway station

On the 1st day of the South India tour, our tour agent will pick you up from the Cochin airport/railway station. He will then assist you to the hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, you can relax in spacious and cozy rooms of the resort or hotel. After some time, you will embark on the half-day tour guided of Cochin which includes:

Dutch Palace – The palace is also known as Mattancherry Palace. It was built in 1557 by the Portuguese and a perfect example of the Kerala style of architecture with a fusion of colonial influences.

Jewish Synagogue (religious place) or Paradesi Synagogue – It is one of the oldest active synagogues. It is one of seven synagogues of the Cochin Jewish society.

Chinese Fishing Net – These nets are fixed land installation for fishing. They are kind of fixed lift nets to catch a heavy or huge number of fishes.

St. Francis Church - One of the oldest and most antique European churches in India, built in the year 1503.

Cochin Shipyard – It is the largest shipbuilding and maintenance facility company in India.

Mattancherry Island - Historic Mattancherry is recognized for 16th-century Mattancherry Palace, constructed by the Portuguese in old Keralan style.

Later, you will return to the hotel after the sightseeing tour of the city. Enjoy a memorable stay at the hotel or resort in Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin - Guruvayoor

Post breakfast in the morning, proceed towards Guruvayoor which is a famous pilgrimage town in Kerala. Upon arrival, check into the hotel/resort to relax. Later, set off to explore city attractions including Guruvayoor Temple which is the famous centuries-old red-roofed temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and it is believed to be one of the 108 Divya Desams. Then you will visit the Elephant Sanctuary which is known as Guruvayur Devaswom Elephant Sanctuary. It is one of the largest elephant sanatoria in the world. Here, you can take a leisurely walk along with friends or families and know how elephants are breaded and trained.

Later in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Guruvayoor.

Day 3: Guruvayoor - Munnar

On the 3rd day of Kerala Kanyakumari package, after savoring breakfast you will head towards Munnar. It is a beautiful town in Kerala and it one of the popular attractions in India. Munnar is perched at an altitude of 1600 m above the sea level. It is popular for its medicinal plants and herbs such as Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Cocoa tree, Kayam, Fig tree, Neelakurinji, Mandoga Brahmi, Bhringraj, Lemongrass, Shatavari, Brahmi, Ginger. This hill station is also renowned as the 'Kashmir of South India'. Encompassed by lush green forests, a blanket of mist, and craggy peaks, Munnar is blessed with the world-famous tea-estates.

Upon your arrival, you will have an assisted check-in at the hotel. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can take a stroll to the streets of this hill station and delve into the enchanting beauty of this majestic place. You can relax in the hotel as well.

Day 4: Munnar Sightseeing

The next morning after breakfast embark on the sightseeing tour of this magnificent hill station. You will visit the Echo Point which is a scenic spot on a reservoir featuring an echo phenomenon, plus nearby picnic sites, boating and hiking, Raja Malai which is also known as Eravikulam National Park and it is a home for the Nilgiri Thar, an endangered species of the goat, Mattupetty Dam which is a beautiful scenic spot surrounded by greenish valleys of Munnar, and Tea Plantations. The tea plantations in Munnar sprawling over hundreds of acres of land. During the tour, you will get an opportunity to learn about the processing and manufacturing of tea. Take a leisurely walk in the plantation and spend quality time here.

After a hectic day, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 5: Munnar - Thekkady

Day 5 of the tour starts early in the morning. You will start your journey for Thekkady after enjoying the delicious breakfast. Upon your arrival, you will have an assisted check-in at the hotel. Relax for some time and then embark on the sightseeing tour. Set out to explore the tourist attractions in Thekkady which include:

Periyar Lake – The Lake is positioned in Thekkady which is a part of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and you can enjoy boating with your loved ones. You can enjoy the bamboo rafting which is an adventure activity and a perfect way to explore the lake. You can also get a glimpse of exotic species of animals during these water sports.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – It is a wildlife reserve and home to royal tigers and majestic elephants. It is surrounded by natural scenic beauty which makes a perfect tourist destination for wildlife and nature lover. It is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world. You can enjoy several eco-tourism activities here and indulge in a jungle safari.

You can also indulge in shopping for various spices which will make you food more rich, flavorful, and delicious or you can savor mouth-watering meals at the nearby restaurant in free times.

Later in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.

Day 6: Thekkady - Kumarakom

On the 6th day of the Kerala Kanyakumari tour, post breakfast you will leave for Kumarakom. Upon your arrival, have an assisted check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later, our tour agent will take you to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is a beloved home of migratory birds. This sanctuary is expanded over 14 hectares and nestled on the banks of the Vembanad Lake.

You can also enjoy the motorboat tour here to spot the exotic species of birds like waterfowl, cuckoo, owl, water duck, Siberian Cranes, parrots, teal, larks, flycatchers, and wood beetles, you will also find wetland birds such as Indian Darter, Little Cormorant, many varieties of egrets and herons, White Ibis and varieties of kingfishers. You can also enjoy boating there.

Later in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 7: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Houseboat Stay)

Day 7 will be more exciting as you will experience a new style of accommodation that is a houseboat where you will be able to enjoy your complete privacy and quality time with your family, friends, or your loved ones. Around noon, check into the houseboat and head towards Alleppey which is also known as Alappuzha. This city borders the Laccadive Sea in Kerala which is popular for houseboat cruises. You will embark on a sightseeing tour of Alleppey which includes Paddy Field, Toddy Tapping, Village Life, R-Block, and Man-made Island.

Enjoy the majestic surroundings and get a glimpse of the lifestyle of locals during the houseboat tour. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 8: Kanyakumari

Post breakfast in the morning, de-board the houseboat and head straight for the sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari. A town where the three oceans that are the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean meet at a point. On reaching Kanyakumari, check-in at the hotel/resort. Thereafter, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari which includes Kanyakumari Temple which is renowned as Kumari Amman Temple which is a treasure trove of the cultural heritage of India, Vivekananda Rock Memorial which is a famous tourist monument in Vavathurai, Kanyakumari. The monument was built in 1970 and is located on a small island off Kanyakumari and you can reach there by ferry ride. Enjoy the mesmerizing sunset at the confluence point of three oceans which is known as Sunset Point. It was earlier known as the Cape Comorin which is located at the southernmost tip of the Indian peninsula.

Return to the hotel after the sightseeing tour. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Kanyakumari - Kovalam

Post early morning breakfast, check out from hotel and depart for Kovalam. En-route, make a stopover to enjoy a 1-hour Ayurvedic massage which is based on old Indian teachings of Ayurveda and stress points, intended to restore the body's energy and build an equilibrium among mind, body, and soul.

Upon arrival, have an assisted check-in to the hotel/resort. In the evening, indulge in beach activities such as surfing, photography, beach volleyball or you can enjoy delicious seafood at the nearby restaurants.

Stay overnight in Kovalam.

Day 10: Kovalam- Thiruvananthapuram (Departure)

On the 10th day of the Kerala Tour with Kanyakumari, after breakfast leave for the sightseeing tour of Trivandrum which includes Padmanabhaswamy Temple which is a Hindu temple built in the 16th century and other historical places.

Later, you will be transferred to the Trivandrum Airport/Railway station to board flight/train for onward destination.
