The Soami Bagh in Agra, is an impressive spiritual and architectural site. It is a white marble building often compared to the Taj Mahal. Thousands of tourists and devotees visit this site to seek blessings.

This mausoleum was constructed in honor of Param Purush Pooran Dhani Swamiji Maharaj, the founder of the Radha Soami faith. This site not only serves as a place of worship but is a testament to the artistry and devotion of its creators as well.

Architecture

Radha Soami Samadhi is an architectural project known for its unique design and long construction time. The mausoleum is primarily built using white marble from Makrana in Rajasthan. It features a 110-foot-high structure made entirely of white marble. Hindu, Christian, Sikh, and Buddhist styles are reflected in the intricate carvings and inlaid stone designs. Its dome is larger than the Taj Mahal’s, revealing the intricate craftsmanship that has been going on for over a century.

The mausoleum features a 31.4-foot gold-plated pinnacle, which is taller than the one on the Taj Mahal. Its interior walls are decorated with emerald, sapphire, and turquoise pietra. Additionally, there is a Bhajan Ghar on the site where spiritual practices and Satsangs are held.
