Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary
Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary together with the Ansh National Park features grand areas of thick deciduous forests. Rafting
The town, as situated by the river Kali, is regarded as an excellent rafting site. There are about 9-14 km of rafting facility with the Class 3 rapids ongoing for 2-3 hours and even more. The names of rapids are Adi's Beard, Snuggler's Trove, The Stitch, Stanley's squeeze and more. Each rapid is of one of a kind. There are operators available, who organize rafting for visitors.
Kavala Caves
Located at a distance of 25 km, Kavala Caves are limestone caves. There are about 375 stairs that visitors have to climb down to reach the entrance. Thereafter, they have to crawl down about 40ft deep through winding, narrow tunnels to sight the naturally formed Shiva Linga.
Shiroli Peak
Shiroli Peak is one of the popular attractions in the town. Situated at a distance of 25 km and in the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, the peak is considered as one of the highest points in the area. From here, visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the town.
