Attractions in Kangra

Kangra Fort

A magnanimous structure, Kangra Fort is one of the major attractions in the city. The fort also played an important role in the war records of Alexander. The fort, as it finds its existence since 4th century is one of the oldest and largest   fort in India.

Kareri Lake

Situated at a high altitude, the freshwater lake is a picturesque location in Kangra. The lake bed is clearly visible due to its shallowness. Additionally, the lake is fed by the snow from the Dhauladhar range.


Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple

The temple is one of the major religious sites in Kangra. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famous for its lingam.
