Aruvacode
Aruvacode is popular for unique pottery work. A movement initiated by KB Jinan helped villagers who were looking for cheaper substitutes. The use of terra-cotta with the modern design created magic and thus, Kumbham came into existence.
The Teak Museum
Situated at a distance of 4 km, the Teak Museum is the first Teak Museum of the world. This is a thematic museum features cultural, historical, scientific and aesthetic aspects of teak, thus, making it an interesting place for learning for kids and adults. The museum also features the Kannimara teak – the oldest living teak tree. Additionally, a 116 year old log preserved here and an antique sailing vessel made of teak wood are a few interesting attractions displayed here.
Adyanpara Falls

Nedumkayam
Situated at a distance of 18 km, Nedumkayam is popular for its thick rain forests. The wooden rest house, constructed during British rule, offers great panoramic views of the forest. Additionally, visitors can also sight deer and elephant grazing in nearby regions. A special permit is required to enter the forest area.
