Birds in Eravikulam National Park include 93 different species. Kerala being a bird-rich region, Eravikulam National Park has an abundance of different kinds of birds. Due to high altitude many tropical birds do not visit the region.
The most prevalent specie found in the Eravikulam National Park is the Rufousbacked Shrike. Mynas are also commonly found in the region. Parrots, Owls, Kingfishers are some of the other commonly found birds. Song birds like the Nilgiri Verditer Flycatcher, White breasted Laughing Thrush, Black-capped Blackbird and Nilgiri White-eye.
Some unique birds found in the Eravikulam National Park are Indian Booted Tree Warbler, Brown Leaf Warbler or Chiffchaff, Large Whiterumped Swift and Indian Cliff Swallow.
