How to Reach Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Since the Santa Cruz Airport is the nearest airport to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, and is just 16 km from the main city, one can visit the place after getting down at the Sanjay Gandhi Airport. From here cars and Buses are available in plenty or one can also avail a taxi or private bus in order to reach the National Park.

If you wish to access the Railways, you can get down at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and from there you can take a bus or car for 40 km and come to Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

The Park is connected to the other parts of the city by proper road links. Mainly if you wish to travel to Mumbai then you can have number of options. The main options are road and rail. There is also an unique accommodation facility inside the National Park. If you wish, you can also stay at the rented apartments beside the National Park.
