  • Air: The nearest airport to Kumarakom is Cochin International Airport. It is located at a distance of about 78 kilometers (2 hours approx.).
  • Rail: Kottayam is the nearest railway station to Kumarakom, which is located at a distance of 16 kilometers (30 mins approx.). The railhead is well-connected to prominent cities in India like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai.
  • Road: KSRTC buses ply between Kottayam and Kumarakom. You can also drive on your own as the road connectivity is great.

Abhyangam: It is a special type of oil massage in which strokes are pressed for 45 minutes per day for 14 days. The treatment is quite effective for paralysis and hemiplegia.

Sirovasthi: It is a treatment done by pouring herbal oils on the forehead. It is very good for patients suffering from headaches and arthritis.

Pizhichil: It is a massage performed with herbal oils and treats rheumatic ailments and nervous disorders.

Udvarthanam: It is one of the excellent Ayurvedic massages with herbal oils and yields good results for obesity, rheumatism, and paralysis.
