Itinerary Details
Day 1: Delhi - Paro

Board flight for Paro from Delhi. On the way to Paro, you will view breathtaking sights of various Himalayan Peaks including Mount Everest and Kanchang Junga. On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and take a little rest. In the evening you can take leisure walks to the nearby lanes. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Paro

Drive through the zigzag ways up the Pa Chu to Drukgyel Dzong. Drukgyel Dzong was earlier a fortress and Buddhist monastery which is now in ruins. Earlier this fortress defended Pa Chu valley from the Tibetan invasion. At the backdrop of this fortress is the Mt. Chomolhari. This amazing view is visible on a clear day. You can also visit the National Museum. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Paro - Thimphu

Early morning drive through the zigzag roads besides the Pa Chu downstream to its meeting with the river Wang Chu and then finally reach to Thimphu (the Capital of Bhutan). Check-in at your hotel and freshen up. After having lunch at the hotel, you will visit Memorial Chorten. This shrine is devoted to the Late King. Return to your hotel for a night long stay.

Day 4: Thimphu

This day is completely for visiting the tourist attractions of Thimphu. You can visit some of the religious structures like Changangkha Lhakhang, Zangthoperi Lhakhang, The National Memorial Chorten, or Statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. Apart from this, there are various museums & galleries like The National Folk Heritage Museum, The Textile Museum, Alaya Gallery, and Water Dragon Gallery that are worth visiting. You can also visit landmarks like Trashi Chhoe Dzong and Simtokha Dzong or enjoy flora and fauna at parks & preserves like Takin Preserve, Botanical Gardens, and Coronation Park. Further to get the sneak peek of the Traditional Crafts, you can also explore Zorig Chusum School of Traditional Arts. You can also wander in the Thimphu Centenary Farmers Weekend Market. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Thimphu - Genekha

Early morning drive to Genekha (14 km). It would take about 45 minutes to reach the first trekking destination - Genekha. This unmetalled road, with the signboard Genekha Pry School, requires 04 hours of trekking. This road is inaccessible during monsoon. Throughout the trail, there are abundant of coniferous vegetation and terrace farms. Halt for overnight camping at Genekha.

Day 6: Genekha - Gur

In the morning leave Genekha and on the way to the next trekking (Gur-14 km), you will find exotic flora and fauna. First 02hours of gradual uphill walk will make you reach at a rock platform from where you can view the natural beauty below. After experiencing the mesmerizing view, it would take another 02 hours to finish the day's trekking. The camp will be in the middle of the wood and as you will reach by the afternoon, you can explore the nearby forest. In spring, you will find abundance of flowers all-around. Return for the overnight stay at the Gur camp.

Day 7: Gur - Labatama

Today will be 5 hours of trekking, from Gur to Labatama. On the way, you will come across the rocky mountain vegetation. The trek will be amidst the flowers and asparagus (during spring). The pleasing surrounding helps the trekkers to freshen-up their mind and enjoy the natural setting of the place. Reaching the huge cairn you will enjoy the amazing view of complete Dagala range and meadows. You can also get the view of yak herder's camp, where you will have lunch. Post lunch, you will trek across meadows and hills, ending today's trekking of 12 km. Overnight camping near Yutsho Lake. This lake is praised for its golden trouts that are found in abundance here.

Day 8: Labatama

You can enjoy this day with an exciting sightseeing tour of Labatama. This place is situated in the hearts of Dagala, with Dokarpo in the west, Mt. Larigang in the east, Tendrup Zomtsegang in the south and Labatama lakes in the north. The three lakes namely Relitso, Hentso and Jamatso are very popular for their mystic stories. This will be a guided tour where you can learn about the place and also enjoy the natural ambiance. You can take leisure walks around the place and also enjoy fishing at lakes. After complete day of excursion, return to your camp for overnight stay.

Day 9: Labatama

Spend this day for expedition to Setso and nearby lakes. With 15 minutes of easy trekking, you will reach Setso. You can enjoy the natural setting of the place and then walk down to Jagetso Lake. You can indulge into a typical Himalayan mood by enjoying fishing and lunch near the lakes. You can also take pleasure in climbing Jomo (5050 m peak). After hours of adventurous rock climbing, you may enjoy the surrounding. Return to your camp for nightlong stay.

Day 10: Labatama - Panka

Early morning, with uphill trekking for 20 minutes, will make you enjoy the spectacular view of the Great Himalayan Peaks. At this point is almost 4,460m above the sea level, your guide will help you to identify the peaks of Everest, Jichudrake, Tsendaygang, Kanchanjunga, Tsevingang, Chomolhari, Gangchen Taa, Masagang and Gangbom. Your 4 hour trek passes through the lakes, meadows and shrubs, and finally finishes as you reach your camp at Panka. Overnight camping at Panka.

Day 11: Panka - Talekha

Though, being the last day of trekking, there is going to be a lot of natural beauty to be enjoyed. This day will make you trek across various passes, each having a unique element of splendor. Blue poppy varieties and mountain birds again add a magnificent feature of the place. Halt for lunch at a point where one train leads to Wangdiphodrang and the other towards Talekha (Talikha). Post lunch, you will have to take a lordly walk for an hour to reach the last Dagala range. From here you can enjoy the fascinating view of Thimphu. Downhill walk of an hour will end your trekking for the day as well as Dagala Trek. Halt at a point, a little above Talekha monastery, for overnight camping.

Day 12: Talekha - Thimphu

Today you will visit Talekha village and Talekha monastery. On the way, you can see alpine and mixed vegetation. After trekking about 03 to 04 hours, you will reach the motorable road to Thimphu. Here your car waits to transfer you to your hotel in Thimphu by afternoon. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure in the town. Visit the nearby markets, talk to the locals, enjoy street food, etc. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 13: Thimphu - Paro

In the morning, you will drive to the International Airport at Paro to board your onward flight.
