Itinerary Details
Day 1: Colombo – Pinnawela – Dambulla
Upon arrival at the Colombo airport, begin your journey towards Dambulla. You will stop at Pinnawala to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and observe the captive breeding program under controlled conditions. Here, you can even feed the baby elephants and watch them bathe. Further, continue with your journey towards Dambulla. Once you reach there, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Then, have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Dambulla - Sigiriya
On day 2 of your Sri Lanka 7-day tour package, wake up, have breakfast, complete the check-out formalities, and leave for a tour of Dambulla. You’ll also visit Dambulla Rock Temple, which contains around 150 images of Lord Buddha. Later, continue your drive toward Sigiriya. After reaching the hotel, complete the check-in procedure and leave for sightseeing. You will visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, famous for its impressive frescoes. Then, retreat to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya
Post breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Polonnaruwa. Enjoy its famous ancient spots, such as the remains of the Royal Palace, the Lotus Bath, Gal Viharya, and so on. For lunch, return to Sigiriya. Then, your remaining part of the day is at ease. You can stroll the nearby area independently or laze around in your room. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Kandy
Today, after breakfast, pack your belongings and complete the check-out procedure. Then, you will hit the roads to reach Kandy. Along the way, admire the scenic vistas and mesmerizing landscapes. Once you go, transfer to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. Later leave for a city tour. Enjoy exploring the Arts & Crafts Centre, town, and market of Kandy, the Kandy Lake, and the well-known Temple of the Tooth Relic. The evening is booked for attending a cultural event. Then, an overnight stay at Kandy.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya
On day 5 of the Sri Lanka tour, begin your day with breakfast, pack your belongings, and complete the formal check-out. Further, you’ll leave towards Nuwara Eliya, a hill resort famous for tea production and its breathtaking natural landscapes. You can even visit the highest mountain in Sri Lanka, Pidurutalagala (8282 ft). Later, reaching the hotel, complete the check-in procedure and relax. Then, you can visit the nearby areas on your own. An overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
Day 6: Beruwela
Day 6 of the Sri Lanka 7-day itinerary is scheduled for Beruwela. After breakfast, check out from your accommodation and drive to Beruwala. After reaching there, check into the hotel and freshen up. You can then indulge in leisure activities at the beach. Then, overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 7: Colombo
On the last day of your Sri Lanka tour, wake up, have breakfast, and complete the check-out procedure. Then, you’ll be transferred to the airport of Colombo and board the flight for your onward destination.
