Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

On your arrival in Kathmandu, our tour representative will meet you at the airport and pick you up for a further journey. You will have an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the evening is at your leisure, and there will be a scheduled briefing session. Finally, enjoy a delicious dinner and have a sound sleep in your cozy bed in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Syabrubesi

On the 2nd day of the Kailash Mansarovar tour, wake up early and check out from the hotel. Carry a packed breakfast and leave from Kathmandu in a reserved tourist coach to Syabrubesi. Enjoy the road trip and admire the scenic vistas. Drive past Galchhi, and then you reach Syabrubesi, located near the China border. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Have your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel of Syabrubesi.

Distance from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi: 120 km

Travel Time: 5 hours 20 minutes (approx.)

Day 03: Syabrubeshi - Kerung

Wake up to a healthy breakfast and check out from the hotel. Start driving from Syabrubeshi to the China border, located at a distance of around 17 km. Once you reach the border, our representative will help you with the customs formalities. Now, you check- into Tibet, an autonomous part of China. From here, you drive to Kerung, which is 26 km away. You will have an assisted transfer to the pre-booked accommodation. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Have a toothsome meal and enjoy a sound sleep in your cozy bed.

Day 04: Kerung

On the 4th day of the tour, you will be staying in Kerung to get your body acclimatized. Have a healthy breakfast in the morning and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. You are free for an excursion to Kerung city and enjoy shopping. Explore the surroundings on your own. Savor a delicious dinner at the hotel and enjoy a restful sleep in your accommodation in Kerung.

Day 05: Kerung - Saga - Dongba

Post breakfast on day 5 of the tour, proceed towards Kerung to Saga/Dongba. The winding roads of China amidst the scenic Himalayas offer breathtaking views. Enjoy the road trip and delve into the blissful surroundings of pristine nature. On arrival in Dongba, you will have an assisted transfer to the pre-booked accommodation. Check-in at the hotel and relax. Have a toothsome meal and stay overnight in Dongba.

Day 06: Dongba - Mansarovar

On the 6th day of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, wake up to a lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel. Later, pack your bags and complete the check-out formalities. Later on, at 07:00 AM, start driving from Dongba towards Mansarovar. The Mansarovar Parikrama will be done in a vehicle. Savor the wonderful views and let the cool air brush past your face. Soak in the tranquil aura of this sacred site. This day is scheduled for the first stay at the banks of Manasarovar Lake. Complete the check-in formalities at your accommodation. Travel Time: 7 hours 30 minutes (approx.)

Day 07: Mansarovar - Darchen

Wake up early and visit Mansarovar Lake, where you dip into the holy waters to atone for all your sins. Then, conduct havan, pooja, and other rituals per your traditions. The surroundings are filled with tranquility and abundant Himalayan beauty. After the spiritual activities, proceed towards Darchen. On arrival, check into a guesthouse for an overnight stay. You can also opt for an Ashtapad excursion (at extra cost).

It is said that Mount Kailash is encircled by 8 smaller mountains that appear to be in the shape of a lotus flower. (Ashtapad means eight steps.) You can opt for this small holy excursion as a part of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Have your dinner and an overnight stay in Darchen.

Travel Time: 2 hours 40 minutes (approx.)

Day 08: Darchen - Diraphuk

On day 8 of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, you will go to Kailash Parikrama. Have an early morning breakfast and start the yatra as early as possible. Today, you drive up to Yumdwari, the base from where you start walking, continuously for around 6 - 7 hours. If you do not wish to cover the journey on foot or if your physical condition does not allow it, you can hire a horse (at an extra cost). Yak is going to carry the kitchen utensils and other equipment. As you reach Diraphuk, you have an overnight stay at a mud house or tent based on availability.

Distance from Darchen to Diraphuk: 12 km

Travel Time: 6 - 7 hours (trek)

Day 09: Diraphuk - Zulthulphuk

Wake up to a beautiful day amidst blissful surroundings. After having breakfast, you will embark on today’s journey. The Kailash Mansarovar yatra trek today is a difficult one where you walk past Dolma La Pass, which lies at an altitude of 5,400 m above sea level. The trek is said to be difficult as the pass has unpredictable weather, but it is worth exploring this trail on foot. The trek should start as early as possible in the morning. On the way, halt at Gaurikund for darshan. Then, continue the trek till you arrive at Zuthulphuk. Upon arrival, you will be allotted your tent. Relax for a while, and then you can explore the region on your own and delve into the majestic beauty of this stunning place. Have your dinner and stay overnight in your tent.

Distance from Diraphuk to Zhulthuphuk: 22 km

Travel Time: 8 - 9 hours (trek)

Day 10: Zulthulphuk - Dongba

On the 10th day of the tour, take a bow in front of Mount Kailash and seek blessings from Lord Shiva. Have a healthy breakfast in the morning, and pack your bags. Complete the check-in formalities and start the trek back to Kathmandu following the same route by which you reach there. On this day, you will start your trek toward Dongba. On arrival, check-in the pre-booked accommodation. Savor a lip-smacking dinner and have a sound sleep in your cozy bed.

Day 11: Dongba - Saga - Kerung

Arise for a healthy meal in the morning and then proceed towards Kerung via Saga. Finally, start your journey back to Kerung, the last town in Tibet where you will stay during your trip. Admire the spectacular beauty of the mighty Himalayas and delve into the breathtaking surroundings of the region. On arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the pre-booked accommodation. Day 12: Kerung - Kathmandu

On the 12th day of the tour, you will enter Nepal from Tibet. Have a hearty meal in the morning at the hotel, and then pack your bags. Complete the check-out formalities at the hotel and proceed toward Kathmandu by road. After customs formalities, you will be transferred to Kathmandu. Proceed towards your accommodation and check-in at the hotel. The rest of the time is at your leisure. Overnight stay in Kathmandu, followed by a delectable dinner.

Day 13: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour

In the early morning of the 13th day of the tour, you can choose to explore Nepal on a Himalayan mountain flight tour, which is optional. After enjoying the flight tour, return to the hotel and have breakfast. Afterward, proceed for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour, including Pashupatinath and Budha Nikanth Darshan. These are the two most revered pilgrimage sites in Kathmandu. Later, return to the hotel, and the rest of the day is free for shopping and packing. You can enjoy the day on your own. Have a delicious dinner at the hotel and an overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Departure

Today is the 14th and last day of your Mount Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. In the morning, check-out from the hotel. Get transferred to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
