Best fit: April to September

These months provide the strongest overall conditions for the itinerary. Bali is generally drier and better suited to Benoa water sports, Uluwatu sunsets, Kintamani views and Ubud sightseeing, while Singapore can be visited comfortably year-round.

Also possible: February, March and October

February and March work reasonably well because Singapore is comparatively drier, although Bali can still receive wet-season showers. October remains generally workable in Bali but marks the transition towards wetter conditions.

Avoid / least suitable: November to January

The tour can still operate, but these are less reliable months for the combined route. Bali is in its wetter season and Singapore also receives higher rainfall from November to January, so outdoor activities, sunsets and water sports may require more flexibility.

• This itinerary involves two countries and an international Singapore–Bali flight, so allow enough time for immigration, airport transfers and baggage procedures.
• Travellers entering Singapore generally need to submit the SG Arrival Card within three days, including the day of arrival. The SG Arrival Card is not a visa.
• Singapore requires passports to generally have at least six months’ validity for short-term visitors.
• International passengers entering Indonesia must use the All Indonesia arrival declaration system under the current entry process.
• Foreign tourists visiting Bali are currently subject to a Rp150,000 Bali tourism levy, with exemptions for certain traveller categories. Payment can be made through the official Love Bali system or authorised channels.
• Uluwatu Temple is an active religious site, so wear respectful clothing and follow temple instructions. Keep phones, sunglasses and loose belongings secure because monkeys live around the complex.
• Benoa water sports are weather-and sea-dependent. Confirm exactly which activities are included, since operators may offer additional activities separately.
• Kintamani is at a higher elevation than the coastal parts of Bali, so it can feel cooler, particularly in the morning or during rain.
• Traffic in Bali can significantly affect travel times, especially around southern Bali and Ubud. Avoid building tight schedules around transfers.
• If your Bali stay coincides with Nyepi, sightseeing and transfers will stop for 24 hours; travellers must stay inside their accommodation, keep noise and lighting low, and Bali’s airport closes for the period.
