• Do not bring e-cigarettes or vaporisers into Singapore; their import is prohibited.
• Import of ordinary chewing gum into Singapore is prohibited, except approved medicinal or dental products.
• Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside Universal Studios Singapore. Smoking is limited to designated areas, and drones/remote-controlled devices are prohibited.
• At Night Safari, avoid flash photography or flashlights, which can disturb the animals. Smoking is limited to designated smoking points.
• At Sunway Lagoon, outside food and beverages, weapons, sharp objects and glass bottles are prohibited.
• Appropriate swimwear must be worn in Sunway Lagoon's water areas, and some equipment such as snorkels, masks, flippers and oversized floats is restricted.
• Follow dress and access rules at mosques and temples, including removing footwear when requested and respecting restricted prayer areas.

Best fit: February-March and June-August

February and March are particularly comfortable for the combined route, with Singapore entering its relatively drier phase and Kuala Lumpur generally seeing manageable rainfall. June to August can also work well, especially for city sightseeing and theme-park days, although short tropical showers remain possible.

Also possible: January, April and September

These months remain perfectly workable. Expect warm, humid conditions and occasional thunderstorms, so indoor attractions such as Universal Studios and shopping areas provide useful flexibility.

Avoid / least suitable: May and October-December

These are not no-go months—the itinerary operates year-round—but heavier or more frequent rain can make outdoor sightseeing and theme-park days less predictable. Singapore's November–January period is its wetter phase, while rainfall in much of Peninsular Malaysia tends to peak around May and October.

• This is a two-country itinerary, so keep passports, entry documents and onward travel confirmations readily accessible.
• Passports should generally have at least six months’ validity for entry into Singapore and Malaysia.
• Indian passport holders currently require a Singapore entry visa unless eligible for a specific transit facility.
• Complete the SG Arrival Card within three days, including the arrival day, before entering Singapore. It is separate from the Singapore visa.
• Indian passport holders are currently visa-exempt for Malaysia for stays up to 30 days until 31 December 2026, subject to entry conditions.
• Indian travellers using that Malaysia exemption must submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three days before arrival and should have confirmed accommodation and return/onward tickets.
• Night Safari, Universal Studios, Sentosa and Sunway Lagoon can involve considerable walking, so avoid overloading the evenings after full attraction days.
• Some rides at Universal Studios and Sunway Lagoon have height, health and safety restrictions.
• Tropical rain can occur in any month, so keep outdoor sightseeing somewhat flexible.
