Itinerary Detail

Day 1:Arrival in Guwahati – Drive to Kaziranga (Approx. 4–5 Hours)

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, where our representative welcomes you and assists with your private transfer to Kaziranga National Park. As you leave behind the city limits of Guwahati, the road gradually opens into wide paddy fields, riverside stretches, roadside villages and lush tea gardens that define the character of many Assam Tour Packages.

The drive itself is a scenic introduction to rural Assam. En route, short comfort halts may be made for refreshments and photography, depending on your pace and traffic conditions. Small markets, roadside tea stalls and river crossings add charm to the journey.

On arrival near Kaziranga by afternoon, check into your wildlife resort or lodge. After check-in, the rest of the evening is kept at leisure. You may take a slow walk around the property, enjoy sunset views over open fields, or simply relax after the road journey.

Dinner is served at the resort. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 2:Kaziranga National Park – Jeep Safari & Leisure Time

Wake up early to the sounds of birds and the forest coming alive. After breakfast, proceed for your guided jeep safari inside Kaziranga National Park. Accompanied by an authorised forest guide, you enter one of the designated safari ranges based on permit allocation.

The terrain shifts between tall elephant grass, marshy wetlands, forest patches and open riverine grasslands. This safari offers excellent chances to spot:

Swamp deer

Migratory and resident birds

Kaziranga’s unique ecosystem makes it one of the most important wildlife reserves in India and a key highlight of longer circuits like the North East Wildlife Tour.

After the safari, return to your resort for lunch and rest. The afternoon is free for relaxation. You may sit in the open gardens, enjoy a book, or spend time simply listening to the forest sounds around the resort. If conditions permit, you may also opt for a short village walk near your lodge to observe everyday rural life (subject to local conditions).

In the evening, enjoy tea on the verandah, interact with fellow travellers, or relax under the open sky. Dinner and overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 3:Kaziranga to Guwahati – Departure (Approx. 4–5 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from your resort and begin your return drive to Guwahati. The road once again offers uninterrupted views of tea estates, rural markets, forest streams and small towns that form Assam’s quiet countryside.

Depending on your departure schedule, you may be transferred directly to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Your 3-Day Kaziranga Tour concludes with memorable wildlife sightings and peaceful countryside travel.

Meals other than those mentioned in the Inclusions, including lunches, dinners, snacks, beverages, and any special dietary requests, unless pre-arranged.
Personal expenses such as laundry, minibar usage, alcoholic beverages, bottled drinks, tips, porterage, telephone calls, room service, or shopping.
Travel insurance of any kind, including medical, baggage, trip cancellation, or personal accident insurance.
Festival, peak-season, weekend, or holiday surcharges, if applicable at the time of travel.
Anything not specifically mentioned under the Inclusions section is to be treated as excluded from the tour cost.

Important Information

Travel Documents: Indian nationals must carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport). Foreign nationals are required to carry a valid passport and an Indian visa at all times during travel.
Climate & Clothing: Light cotton clothes are recommended for daytime travel. A light jacket or shawl is advisable for early morning safari drives and evening hours, especially during winter months.
Health & Safety: Some road journeys may be long depending on traffic and weather conditions. Guests prone to motion sickness should carry appropriate medication. Only bottled or filtered water should be consumed throughout the trip.
Wildlife Etiquette: Guests must maintain complete silence during safaris. Feeding animals, stepping out of the vehicle inside the park, or disturbing wildlife is strictly prohibited. All instructions issued by forest guards and naturalists must be followed without exception.
Photography Rules: Camera usage inside Kaziranga National Park may attract additional charges payable at the entry gate. Drone photography is strictly prohibited under forest law.
Local Etiquette: Visitors are advised to respect local customs, tribal traditions, and village life, especially during rural walks and nearby village interactions.
Logistics: Standard hotel check-in time is around 12:00 PM and check-out around 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
Road & Weather Conditions: Safari timings, park entry, and safari zones are fully controlled by the forest department and are subject to weather conditions, conservation rules, and real-time wildlife movement.

In case of tour/travel services cancellation due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be informed in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

60 days & before arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost
59 to 30 days before arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost
29 days to 15 days before arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost
14 to 08 days before arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost
07 days & less before arrival or no show – NO REFUND
