Explore the remains of ancient structures and learn about Assam’s royal history, administration and customs that shaped the region for nearly 600 years. This visit offers a strong cultural dimension to the tour, complementing the natural experiences ahead.

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Kaziranga National Park, one of India’s most renowned wildlife reserves and a highlight of many Kaziranga wildlife tours.

The scenic drive takes you through rural Assam landscapes, river crossings and tea-growing regions. On arrival, check into your jungle resort and relax amid the natural surroundings.

Day 5:

Kaziranga National Park – Wildlife Safaris

After an early breakfast, set out for wildlife exploration in Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for hosting nearly two-thirds of the world’s population of one-horned rhinoceroses.

Begin with an elephant safari, which allows close-range wildlife viewing in the early hours, especially of rhinos and grazing animals. Later, proceed for a jeep safari through one of the park’s designated ranges, covering tall elephant grass, wetlands and forest patches.
