Itinerary Details
DAY 01: Mumbai - Delhi (230 Km)

Begin your Char Dham Yatra package from Mumbai. From Mumbai, you can take an overnight train to Delhi or you can board your flight to Delhi. As soon as you arrive at Delhi Airport or the railway station, meet and greet by our IHPL representatives at the airport and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel and relax in your hotel room. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can either relax in your hotel room or explore the beautiful surrounding of the hotel.

DAY 02: Drive from Delhi – Haridwar

Start your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel and proceed for an assisted drive to Haridwar via road. Once you reach the hilly expanses, check-in to the pre-booked hotel and wash away the journey fatigue.

Situated at the bases of the grand Shivaliks, Haridwar, which means entrance to God's kingdom is a wonderful gateway to the majestic Ganges. It is considered to be among the seven holiest cities in India. Dotted with temples and ashrams across the city. It is also the same place where the great Suryavanshi Prince Bhagirath performed severe repentances to recover the souls of his ancestors who were cursed by the great sage Kapila. Following the same custom of Bhagirath, followers and pilgrims pray for the salvation of their ancestors in the holy water of Ganga.

Later, in the evening, appear in the wonderful Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri. Admire the beauty of thousands of floating earthen lamps is a breathtaking view. This holy Ghat was constructed by King Vikramaditya in memory of his brother Bhartihari. It is believed that Bhartihari came to Haridwar and meditated on the banks of the holy Ganges. Millions of devotees from across the world come to take a dip in the holy Ganges.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.

DAY 03: Haridwar – Barkot / Kharsali

On the 3rd day of the tour, start your day with an early morning breakfast. After your meal, start your drive to Barkot / Kharsali through Dehradun and Mussoorie. On the way to Mussoorie visit the magnificent Kempty Falls and the area surrounded by high mountain ranges. Kempty Falls offers a fascinating panoramic view as the waterfalls from the mountains. Continue with your journey and relish yourself in the cool atmosphere.

Upon arrival in Barkot / Kharsali, check-in the hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at Barkot / Kharsali

DAY 04: Barkot / Kharsali – Yamunotri – Barkot / Kharsali

The crisp mountain air greets your morning as you dig into the palatable flavors of your breakfast. After having your energetic breakfast at the hotel, start your Yatra. You can trek for 5 Km and can be covered either on foot or can be hired horses or Palanquin/ Doli at your own cost. The arrangement can be made on a direct payment basis at the hotel on informing 2 days before your trek.

Barkot is the base of the mountain trek to Yamunotri. Followed by a Yamunotri trek, take bath at Jamunabai Kund's warm water. The most significant in these is Surya Kund where you can cook rice in the Himalayan springs and pilgrims can take this cooked rice home as a Prasad. After that, pay a visit to the Divya Shila where you have been sanitized by the thermal water.

The rock pillar is being worshipped before entering the temple. The chief attraction at Yamunotri is the temple devoted to the Goddess Yamuna. It stands proudly with its mammoth mountain peaks and gushing waters of Yamuna. It was built in the 19th century by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur and was demolished twice in the present century and rebuilt again. You can offer your prayers and take blessings of almighty Goddess Yamuna.

After Darshan make your way to the downhill. Return to Barkot / Kharsali for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 05: Barkot / Kharsali – Uttarkashi

Start the day with a hearty breakfast. Check-out of your hotel and proceed to drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival at Uttarkashi check in to the hotel here. The evening is free for you to indulge in leisure activities.

Uttarkashi is positioned at the bank of River Bhagirathi. The temple of Lord Vishwanath is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. It is situated at the heart of the town, where a gigantic iron trident is erected. Visit the temple for blessings.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest at Uttarkashi.

DAY 06: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Have your early morning breakfast and start your journey to Gangotri, situated at a height of 3,100 m above sea level. Heading towards your journey, enjoy the charming Harsil valley. Harsil is famous for its natural beauty and the splendid views of the forest and mountains. The view of winding Bhagirathi River and magnificent views of the Himalayas.

According to the Hindu legend, Goddess Ganga descended when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from the locks of his hair. Lord Shiva received River Ganges in his dense hair locks, to decrease the impact of her fierce flow. The original Gangotri Temple is an olden 18th-century temple built of white marble located on the banks of River Bhagirathi. Built by the Nepalese Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa. The temple is devoted to the River Goddess and the origin of the holy river is at Gaumukh set in the Gangotri glacier. It is famous for its ancient shrines and religious significance.

Pay worship to Kedar Ganga Sangam, it is about 100 Yards from the Ganga Temple. Kedar Ganga flows from the Kedar Valley and meets the Bhagirathi River on its left array. After Gangotri Darshan, priced for the drive back and will bring you back to the hotel in Uttarkashi.

Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

DAY 07: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

On the seventh day, after a healthy and hearty breakfast in the hotel, you will drive straight to Guptkashi.

During the journey, adore the beautiful views of the river Mandakini at Tilwara, which originates in Kedarnath. On the way, you will be able to enjoy the amazing view of the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini at Rudraprayag. Upon your arrival in Guptkashi, check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. Further, proceed for Kedarnath Pre-registration.

The name Gupt Kashi means "Hidden Benares", is a fairly large town situated on the elevation of 1,319 m above sea level. It is well known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple devoted to Lord Shiva. Popularly-narrated legend describes that Lord Shiva disguised from the Pandava brothers who were in the quest for the blessings of Lord Shiva. The valley has a salubrious climate with large magnolia trees that provides a sweet fragrant atmosphere to the place. Pay a visit and get the blessings of the Lord.

Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

DAY 08: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 Kms +20 Km Trek)

The morning after having breakfast and then head towards Sonprayag. Upon arriving at Gaurikund you can start your trek to Kedarnath. It is a base of a trek to Kedarnath.

The mountain is the domicile of Lord Shiva and positioned at an elevation of 3584 m. You will make your Yatra on foot or you can hire a pony / Doli at your costs. The Kedarnath shrine is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is thronged by thousands of tourists every year. It is a picturesque spot located against the backdrop of the grandiose Kedarnath ranges.

According to fable, the temple got its name from a legend in Mahabharata. The Pandavas after having conquered over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war. As they felt guilty of having slain of their brothers and hunt for the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption.

Lord Shiva eluded from them and took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On existence, he dived into the ground and leaving his bulge on the surface. Kedarnath is a sanctified place where you can attain the salvation of your souls.

Upon your arrival at Kedarnath, check-in the government camps. And then head for the Darshan at the temple. After your wonderful Darshan of Kedarnath, return to the hotel for rest and overnight stay.

Relish your warm dinner and night halt at Kedarnath.

DAY 09: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi

Be ready for an early morning Darshan of Kedarnath Temple. Before 4:45 A.M take shower and reach the temple for the Abhishek ritual of the Lord. Do your puja and take blessings.

After Darshan, walk down to Sonprayag. Later, you will drive for Guptkashi. The primeval town of Guptkashi is nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas.

Check-into the hotel and enjoy your stay. Rest of the day is at leisure; you can spend some time in the hotel room or you are free to explore the beauty of the surroundings.

DAY 10: Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath

Relish the most attractive sceneries here. Badrinath is one of the four sites and the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at the height of 3,133 m with the soaring Neelkanth Peak providing a wonderful backdrop. For the reason that the land is carpeted with the wild berries, the place got the name "Badri van" which means the forest of berries.

Upon arrival, check-into the hotel for rest and after refreshing yourself. Later in the evening visit Badrinath Temple for glorious aarti. Before entering the holy place of Lord Vishnu, cleanse yourselves with a dip in the Tapt Kund. It is the natural warm springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda offers water with the medicinal properties.

After enjoying the bliss of Badrinarayan Darshan, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Badrinath.

DAY 11: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

In the early morning, indeed, the blessed amongst us can enjoy the divine morning Pooja of Badrinarayan. Pilgrims have to take a holy dip in the water of Tapt Kund before worshipping at Badrinath Temple.

The Badrinath Temple is considered prime among the Vishnu shrines in the whole world. In actual fact, Skanda Purana lifts its position to be the highest among all Vishnu temples in the universe. According to the epic Mahabharata, Badrinath is the site where Nar and Narayan, the dual form of Vishnu did meditation. It also assumed that the Pandavas passed through Badrinath on their way to heaven.

Brahamakapal is a significant place for Hindus in Badrinath. On the flat platform on the bank of river Alaknanda, Hindus pay homage to the dead souls of their ancestors. After Darshan, get ready for sightseeing spots. Visit Mana Village which is the last Indian village and one of the best tourist attractions nearby to Badrinath if time permits.

Later drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight stay is arranged here at Rudraprayag.

DAY 12: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar

After an early meal, you will drive to Haridwar. En route, you will get an opportunity to soak in the magic of Rishikesh. The place is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on the three sides and a renowned spiritual town on the bank of river Ganga. It is called “the place of sages”. This holy town is known as the Yoga capital of the world. Explore some famous attractions in the city. You can visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Sivananda Ashram, Bharat Mandir and Triveni Ghat.

In the evening attend glorifying Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram. Enjoy the sublime pleasures of witnessing Ganga aarti before leaving for Haridwar.

Drive to Haridwar. Enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

DAY 13: Haridwar – Delhi Departure

End your Char Dham Yatra with Indian Holiday today. After having breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. On arrival at the capital city, you will transfer to Railway Station / Airport to return home.
